So Min Yoongi is my Ult of Ults and when he showed up with the piano and the flowers THAT is when I burst into tears in this MV lol.
Everyone seems to forget that Tae did the camera move in Spring Day. He's sitting down after their party/food fight and he rotates his hands. I think the desk behind Tae may represent Boy in Luv opening scene as well Both had a vase with a rose in it. From start to finish this video was full of BTS memories. From the Just on Day position to ending with the Spring Day position. I think Army will each find symbolisms that other Army has missed. I'm hitting myself I didn't recognize the Jin Fake love pose. I love, love, love your reactions.
When I saw yoongi on the piano and when the bus came into view is when I started crying the most 😭 I’m just so incredible proud of them. I love them so much 😭💜
This is definitely a song and an MV for ARMY - I love the message, and the MV is a beautiful wrap up to this chapter of their career. Whatever the new chapter is, I'm eagerly waiting for it. Leave it to BTS to use a comeback to tease a future comeback :P

This MV is a real trip back in time. I couldn't stop crying yet.... The references already start in the first scene, which reminds me of the end of Life Goes On, and being in Korean, wow, what a movie that crossed my mind. When JK starts putting his hand over his eye it's a reference to Young Forever, when Yoongi is on top of the piano it's a reference to First Love, when Tae has a rose in his hand it's a reference to Boy In Luv, when the Jimin puts his hand in his mouth and then extends it is a reference to Spring Day and DNA, Jin does the Fake Love pose too, and the truck that they so much part of the mv makes reference to Run, and in the end, the scene of them sitting on the bus is just like Spring Day, the last scene is just like the spring day scene they are on the train!! the filming, the expressions, even the gestures, they talked about the album and Nan said that this was their first chapter so I see this MV this album as a closure of this chapter, references to old times and everything and the second chapter "is still to come" and that they are preparing more new things for us but that was just my interpretation, oh my God, what an exciting memory for us ARMYs, a flexbeck epic. This MV was the best made of BTS's career, the care with the scenography, the references, the expressions to the lyrics. OH MY GOD HOW I CRIED. THANK YOU FOR BEING ALIVE TO BE ABLE TO LIVE THIS. 💗👏👏👏😭😍💗😪

I agree that it’s kinda sad for them but it’s also a risk that bts thought was worth it. They said this album is for army. Sure gaining new fans would be great but they really wanted to reminisce on their past with army.
But still they are getting so much hate from even old armys who are comparing them with Txt,Skids,Ateez. Many Old armys are saying BTS has lost passion in music that’s why their recent releases have more English than usual, and the songs weren’t hype songs.

The song 'Sea'. the slogan “With you, even the desert becomes the sea.”, which were used by ARMYs in concerts as signs to hold up.

I loved all the reference in the mv and I agree it's for army that truly went through every mv. My friend is a baby army since we went to see their concert at the cinema in March (I converted her) and she got almost all the references.

This whole song and my was beautiful and made me feel so nostalgic, the keeps growing on me and I’m in love with it. I loved jks’s scene in front of the carousel ride and jimin smiling and Putting his hand out. With taes outfit and the desk table next to him that actually i think it can be a reference to the n.o/ Skool luv affair era as his suit looked like a school uniform and the table next to him looked like a small high school desk but i loved the singularity reference with the rose. When tae does the triangle shape with his hand at the end Jin does that in a past mv but v actually does that in the spring day mv too which is really cool. I just love how there is so many references from that whole era of the most beautiful moment in life, bought back so many memories. This whole song and mv made me so happy and excited for what’s yet to come.
When you started interpreting the lyrics, i started crying too lol. But in my first watch, I really teared up when the bus came into focus, I couldn't hold it in. There's so much nostalgia watching the MV.

Welcome Army! Hope u enjoy the ride. =0] Good for u. that is how it was for me. Got into BTS in 2019. Was clueless. Had headaches from the BU stuff so ignored it. But after a few months i started reading comments. Got myself a BU list of MV's/songs. And no more headache. Go figure. Now I read tweets and watch theory vids if i want more info. It's interesting.
I could be way off. But I thought that Tae with the rose was actually a reference to "Boy in Luv". Either way, such a creative come back! 💜

I listen to bts almost from the beginning of my kpop journey (from 2017) and while I was watching this mv, I realized how this time has passed so quickly and so much happened during this years in their and my life... Two things I havent seen anyone notice yet are Jimin's reaching up high as if to pop his Serendipity bubble, and the moment when Tae turns to look at Jimin (right before Jin covers his eyes) is from Euphoria, when he turns to see Jin climbing the platform with that perplexed look. Jin also does his Euphoria ending smile at the beginning. I just keep finding new moments lol

@SayWhatReacts - Some Yet to Come mv references you may have missed. These are just my interpretations and I could be wrong.
Yet To Come visual theme of the desert and the hearing the ocean: Remember in one of their early S Korean concerts, ARMY had signs that really touched the boys to the point that they saved some signs and put them up in their studios: "If We're Together, Even the Desert Becomes the Sea". I think the whole base of the Yet To Come video is founded on this statement and BTS purposefully included it to say ARMY is the base of their existence and to say these words back to ARMY.

The first time I listened to YTC, it was ok, but it grew on me after a few listens and I love the lyrics. The other two I’m sure you’ll love as well, get ready for run bts by the way😉
The demos are really good, and there are some of them that I like over the original in some ways. For example, in the I NEED U demo by RM I think I like the melody a bit more than the original and he sings🥺
Also, the two hidden ones, young love and quotation mark are technically not new songs, they were just never released, but they’re both really good and we get to hear baby bangtan☺️
Anyways,sorry for rambling but I just really love this album.

I am not old army but what drew me to BTS was that their music has meaning. This was beautiful because it's back to what I love about them to begin with. It's not about the English audience, grammies, or any of that It's about what they love the music and that they have a message and the message is true. I may not understand all the references to old MV's but I do get that going forward it's going to be them being true to them and us and I am down for that.

I'm pretty sure the MV starts with exactly that image with the rose in the vase like that. And tae wearing a school uniform is probably symbolizing that era as well

@SayWhatReacts - Could Namjoon's container number 20217 be an actual date? February 2, 2017? Or if you put the year first then 2021 July (July being the 7th month). Was there something significant for BTS on either date potential, i.e. a cb, a performance, a music show appearance, moving to a new apartment unit? Does it pertain to when the BU actually began? If it's about the month of July in 2021, what happened during that time for them? A song release? Hitting a milestone on the charts? A google search shows a bunch of reports that BTS had planned to release an album in July 2021 ---? but how could they known back in 2016-7 that in 4/5 years time they would release an album in 2021?

Many so called armys are currently hating the album because its not full hiphop and are saying they miss old BTS. This is an anthology album, its meant to be like this.

2/3 of the new songs they released for the Proof album, Yet To Come and For Youth, are clearly very 90s/00s rnb/pop inspired and very reminiscent sound wise to a lot of bts' early discography (Like, Coffee, Just One Day, Blanket Kick, Wishing on A Star, Good Day, For You etc) so anyone who misses their "old sound" should be ecstatic (like I very much am) and those who always complain about a recent release not being "hip hop" enough are usually only comparing them to songs like the Cyphers which are brilliant but do not at all fully represent how vast and beautiful and varied bts' discography truly is
