Same. He is just an all around stand up dude. I've always hated how even fellow musicians/guitarists give (albeit Creed more than just Tremonti himself) so much hell, like he isn't "metal enough" or whatever.. I've always had mad respect for this dude, and as time goes on, I only love him and his 🕊 inlays more.
Tremonti is a monster and nothing can stop him i love his solo stuff and alterbridge honestly one of my top idols really want to meet him and jam with him which will probably happen but going to amazon to order his new album!! Solo is killer too!!
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. I am of the opinion that Mark Tremonti is an extremely talented man. He is dedicated to his music, his family and his fans. He is an incredible musician, songwriter AND singer. If you don't like his voice, nobody forced you to listen to it...I and thousands of other fans happen to love it. I am confident he can sing a hell of a lot better then those of u who criticize....just sayin
Even though they're 4 albums in, Mark Tremonti is by far one of the most underrated talents that came from both Creed and Alter Bridge, a phenomenal guitarist, an unbelievable song writer and a vocalist who has more to show. I gotta start listening to this band religiously.
This shit came out 7 years ago and it is STILL one of my GO TO videos for influence. Mark, you don't get enough credit my man... I'm still paying for your jams tho. Hell with the haters.
Mark Tremonti has got it all. From his early days with Creed then Alter Bridge and now this.Hes just so damn good.Ive admired his guitar playing and sound for many years.
Mark, you are such an fucking awesome person and musician...really love the music you make either it's this solo project or with alter bridge. Will always listen to you!
One of the best albums I've ever heard....seriously. Some of my favorite albums include And Justice for all, No More Tears, anything Zeppelin has ever done, Lateralus, and some others, and I would honestly throw this album in along with those names.
yeah Creed and Alter bridge are also the same band as creed except with a different singer BTW but mark has his side band that he plays with while Myles tours with Slash and stuff
I miss Creed but I love this is a great group too....I read a Rolling Stone article and interview with Scott (who is getting better btw) and it mentioned he might try to get Creed back together, but im not to hopeful
Sadly, I only discovered Mark Tremonti's solo band in 2019. I actually saw them open for Sevendust in Columbus, OH. I thought it was really good and so I listened to Marching in Time 2 years later. As I have listened to more Tremonti, I have come to love his music even more.
for me liking a band or musician I would say if I could play and if I had a band this how I would love to sound, that sums up my feelings for Mark's music and Alter Bridge , great harmonies thundering rhythm and guitar sound that would terrify Godzilla,
Stapp WAS (emphasis on was) once a great singer, especially on the first Creed album his vocals were awesome. But these Tremonti albums just prove what I've always known: Mark could have easily fronted Creed himself. The dude's got some chops.
+Retro Revelations Yeah, right. I am pleasantly surprised to see him doing his OWN thing, so great. He is one of the best guitarist I've ever heard. I go back to the Creed songs just to listen to the shifts and swing of Mark on guitar. But after hearing "So You're Afraid" , man, this group rocks. Mark and the guys have got something here that is such great music, I'm talking 80s Metallica great music.
psht...while I agree that Tremonti's got wicked riff's, Scott's current Lead Guitar on the Proof of Life Tour, Yiannis Papadopoulos, isn't far behind at all. Go check 'em out if you get a chance, promise you won't be disappointed!!
Myles brings more metal to the band than Scott ever could. I've been a life-long fan of Creed and Alter Bridge. However, I have to say Alter Bridge is a better band than Creed. I'd listen to any album either of them put out, but I'm more excited for an AB album over Creed any day. Stapp's writing and singing just has that spiritual, inspirational level that takes away from what Tremonti could bring. I feel like Myles and Tremonti complement each other fully.
Prefer this version of the audio to the studio track. This one is still studio a bit, but not nearly as edited as the one from the album itself. Very raw. Much better. He should release a whole album recorded this way.
I've found they released a video for another song, I think it was Wish You Well, in the same raw style as this. I think I watch more Live Tremonti vids than studio ones lol dude is just a beast without all the postprocess effects!
+Ima WreckU Totally agree with you, just compared both, though the studio/cd one is more slick this one is more raw and brings out the power of the song.
Lyrics: When the light is finally gone Here the blind can truly see Oh, the tide has finally turned Now, the walls they fall on me Now they fall on me So you're afraid, said it's a long way down With everything said, you were hurting But you're much better now Now all the time's spent Oh, the moment's come and gone Left with what you've come to be But now your hope is all but lost The years they've all been such a waste It's all been such a waste So you're afraid, said it's a long way down With everything said, you were hurting But you're much better now Now all the time's spent So you're afraid, said it's a long way down With everything said, you were hurting But you're much better now So you're afraid, said how it's all erased With everything fading I know that there's a much better way
Richard Cox I know right?! These guys are awesome! I haven't been able to go to one of their concerts yet, but I've seen some of their live performances and they're amazing.
the kinda blast beat breakdown at 2:20 is completely badass followed by that wild solo. This is an excellent song. Mark himself sings better than Scott Stapp and Myles Kennedy too and MK is one of my favorite singers. I prefer MK singing GnR songs than AXR himself. Mark is just an all around talented guy. Shoot me but I like Creed and AlterBridge is in the top 20 of my favorite bands so far of all time.
Dude is solid as fuck...such a perfect fit as well........I was so impressed I looked him up, Iv never heard of Submersed but looking forward to doing some homework on this guy.
Richard Cox Submersed is one of the most underrated bands and Donald Carpenter has unreal vocals I've never heard anything like his the closest I could compare is Sully Erna
such a masterpiece. Who is listening to this 10 years later?
Oh yes \m/

The best metal climax period....
good singing and a solid tone hard rock band sound like it .
It's about time Tremonti has the entire spotlight on stage! His licks & vocals are perfect!
Que bom que não acabou!.... Muito foda esse cara, minha inspiração desde o lançamento em meados de 2000.

lmao
Aaron Conway damn he does, huh?
lmao boy can play though
If there's one guitarist, who looks like Agent Smith,it's Joe Bonamassa. ;-)

That drummer is ridiculous...love some tremonti
Somehow this song is like post-grunge and extreme metal at the same time.
Still my fave tremonti song. Seen them live at least 10 times.

Whoever recorded the drums on this song did a good job. the bass drum is punchy and the cymbals and hi hat are crispy.
Me encanta Mark Tremonti. c:
Muito bom :c
Proof has to be the greatest song I've ever heard.
Lyrics:
When the light is finally gone
Here the blind can truly see
Oh, the tide has finally turned
Now, the walls they fall on me
Now they fall on me
So you're afraid, said it's a long way down
With everything said, you were hurting
But you're much better now
Now all the time's spent
Oh, the moment's come and gone
Left with what you've come to be
But now your hope is all but lost
The years they've all been such a waste
It's all been such a waste
So you're afraid, said it's a long way down
With everything said, you were hurting
But you're much better now
Now all the time's spent
So you're afraid, said it's a long way down
With everything said, you were hurting
But you're much better now
So you're afraid, said how it's all erased
With everything fading
I know that there's a much better way
Tremonty is very powerful and amazing, never fail
YEAH!!!! >_< I'm surprised that Mark Tremonti is so good on vocal. I was waiting for you!
are you deaf .. Barely keeping the tune and in tune . Great song and band but these vocals are patchy at best
@@bigfilsing But he singing alone to!!!! >_

Pretty damn good considering there were no audio adjustments.

I was wondering so thanks!
He is the best guitarist today. Also great singer/songwritter.

They're both great, I can listen to Tremonti's voice for longer though...
Mark is a great singer Myles is the best
I'd love to see Tremonti step up vocals in AB
I always knew Mark could sing. He did backup with creed, and spending so much time with Scott it was bound to happen. Great song!
Tim Minchin is a great guitarist, Jesus.

Sam Hugh-Jones Marshall joined the project and recorded the album with them and stuff but dropped out for the touring and was replaced by Wolfgang
Soundgarden97 thanks for that. I always thought it had been Wolgang from the start
Still my #1 Tremonti song to this day! 🤘🤘
BAD-ASS DRUMS TOO...
Great singer and a monster guitar player.
who is Sid and why is he afraid?
Sid, the dj from Slipknot, is afraid the new album will blow without Joey drumming
Klo Riley I guarantee they will get a drummer 10 times better than little guy.
Izzy V really? many musicians and fans loved that album lol
Sid from Toy Story????.........maybe the time he shit his pants when the Woody the Cowboy doll acted possessed?????
***** lol you are right, and by 2:15 Mark kinda remind me of Sid from the Toy Story.
This album.....too much for words to say! KickASS!
