I could listen to George Christie all day. God bless Sose & George.
Sose, you’re really shining lately bro. Cool content, thanks for giving us a more in depth look into the world most of us would never make it in.
I worked with Norman for 3 seasons on Walking Dead he would never on purpose disrespect someone. He was a good soul very kind to the fans coworkers and more.
There are clips online from an interview Norman did and his explanation for the teeth is that he didn't want to look like Daryl Dixon in the movie, so the teeth were a way to drastically change his look.
I watched an interview and I believe Norman said he didn't want to be "Darryl" and asked for the teeth so the audience doesn't just see Norman Reedus as Darryl again
I just saw Bikeriders, but just saw it today with my great friend! I loved it told my story as an ol’lady in that time period in Fairbanks, Alaska & my friend was the East Coast!! It was a beautiful time in my life livin’ the life sitting on the backseat with my ol’man. ❤❤ I thk he did great job of making those days seem real. It wasn’t supposed to be another SOA movie. I loved the way he did the the sets from the TV (even down to the show “Bewitched “ the clocks , the clothes the music 🎶 my friend & I were shaking own ft & singing the songs etc ❤❤😂. I was on the streets since I was 12 yrs old & been on the outside of several Clubs from that Club to Tx Club to AZ after I moved there after Sonny stripped patches from a family member who rode with that Club that went to jail instead of joining Club. He has since died but I learned a lot. 😂. I loved the days of hanging out with friends, getting food ready for the Club I to was it by the 16:36 sound of roaring engines in my ear my arms around my Ol man & the wind in my hair. The sound of the bikes rolling by my street now brings both envy & great times gone by. I’m now almost 72 & alone but this movie today left me feeling Great !! I rarely go to bike events now that I don’t do tattoo contests at my age & even those contests have changed everyone has tattoos and not the old school ones that I had done many yrs ago. lol. Women didn’t get as many tattoos has I have. It’s fun to run into bikers who remember me from those days just saying’. 🌹❤️‼️Times they have changed & even will continue to that’s just how it is😂😢. So I’ll quit rambling on about the “old day’s but I think it was an awesome movie the dialogue was stray from the book. I give it a 💯❤. & so did my good friend & he borrowed my book to read I was writing this while George was on. Sounded like he enjoyed it also Always thks for a great interview with him again🎉❤. ‼️
I think Reedus said that the teeth were an artistic liberty taken and I think he also said that its supposed to be a sort of endearing joke for motorcyclists of the time, something about them being seen as grimy and filthy by the general public. Either way, irl funny sonny sounds like a cool dude and I loved how Reedus Played the character in the film.
I would love to hear an interview with an old skool Outlaws MC member from the same era as George.
Agreed. Listening to the old school warriors is just awesome! Thank you Sose for doing these interviews!
Keep up the amazing work bro!! God bless and have an great 4th!!
Reedus said to the director you’ve got all these good looking guys in the movie so he was trying to be different
If you ever rode in a motorcycle club I think you can understand the movie better than most civilians.
Lol, unless you're military, we all civilians. Gangs and MCs don't make you not a civ. Not special, for making up your own rules with your bike bros. 😂😂😂😂😂
This comment is hilarious.
"Civilians"
What you an alien?
I have never been in an outlaw club. I am a full patched member of a CofC recognized group and what I really liked about this movie was how it showed how an original club started to become something very different as the club grew and expanded from it originals. That seemed to me to be spot on and a very interesting part of the story.
I love learning new history of other clubs it's fascinating how much it can change
Paying attention and letting the Mr. Christie talk. Right on and I appreciate both of you thank you.

In the bikeriders you could see Danny lyons had a vandals patch on the scene when they got in the fight with that Gary mc when the member said a vandal scratched his bike then Benny came over and decked the guy haha loved that scene but Lyons had a patch on there could only see it briefly in few scenes then later didn't have it on
AGAIN SOSE with the most high quality content. Thank you. RESPECT. # ghostin
Man I remember subbing when you had just a few thousand subs. So cool to see you doing well!
Funny Sonny lived the Outlaws so much he quit the HA and joined the AOA in Chicago
Funny sunny also left the HAs because they found out he was dressing up and doing drag shows
I met Funny Sonny when I was a kid. In Chicago!
Once again you always keep it real brother !!
I remember as a teen watching the B Rated Biker Movies of the late 60's and early 70's, cinema was full of club riders, with their bikes all parked up in front of the cinema, different time, but Im old and still remember my friends brother riding his Triumph when he was a Rocker.
Sose, great videos since day one keep on rockin em
The life style isn't what it once was
If I recall correctly, the Gangland show with Funny Sonny was about a real mean group of Christies former club who had a beef with Santa who was claiming to be "legacy" member of the club and was killed at a party of which they had invited him to, and the same dudes were the ones who damn near killed Funny Sonny and took away all of his club stuff with their name or likeness.
I had to have a 45 stuck in my ear before I heard that only club guys talk about club guys. I good friend stuck it in my ear. A lesson well learned, and a friend for life.
Love the nicknames of these men😅
Freakking brilliant follow-up! Really cool you have these knowledgeable historians of motorcycle lore you can pool from.👍
The Bike Rider was a great movie.
I just found out about it and I'm trying to find where I can watch it for free. Definitely not paying for a bikers movie that would be completely against the culture
I do remember seeing somewhere that Reedus also wanted to distinguish his character from Daryl from TWD, who already has that biker vibe.
Just as ole George had commented about how much time and work goes into producing these podcasts. I appreciate your time and hard work you do Sose and I want to wish you and your family a very safe and happy 4th of July.
People need to do some research. Reedus has already talked about the character and his visual effects.
💪🏽💪🏽 love the history and knowledge let's go!!
Nice to see these 2 becoming friends.
@@DemonsRow I've had an obsession with Motorcycles my whole life. Grew the balls to actually:Take the msf course, get the license, than get the bike. I definitely got the bike, 1998 Yamaha VStar 650 *ahem* "Custom*.
I'm stupid......point is I may not have ridden it as much as I really want to. BUT...point is this channel is something that in far more ways than one. Has taught me about the love of community. Plus teaching u ourself about the intricacies what makes it great.
Great content as always Sose George is very articulate and a wealth of knowledge about MC culture the HA’s in particular
A Toast To Sose The Ghost - The Host With The Most
So glad to hear a review from bikers and that you liked it. I like this movie too.
Awesome video, thanks Man just what i asked mutch love and respect #ghostin
Nice, thanks for some info about him
Imagine trying to keep an accurate historical record for over 70 years when most of the best stories everyone was drunk ,high , and as much adrenaline as humanly possible was coursing through their veins….
my first time seeing this channel. 666K subs on a channel called demons row is crazy 😂😂
That was an outstanding sit down, it went by too quick. Listening to George Christie reminisce about those early days giving a firsthand account of what transpired is incredible, I just went to see “Bikeriders” the other day and didn’t know the backstory was about a real MC and that it was based on facts, now I need to read the book! Great video!
George is famous. He doesn’t need to try and do it. He is a real Gentleman. A man’s man. Thanks for having him on. And thanks to him. Great Great Great!
The awful teeth were purely Norman Reedus' idea. He wanted that look for his character's representation on screen. The prosthetics were made and he went to shops and bars etc. with the teeth before shooting to make himself comfortable with the prosthetics on and also to just fck with people 😂 in an interview he said that he wanted to go in the opposite direction in terms of looks because "there is already a lot of handsome men in the movie" .
The most important thing Norman ever did was getting a Provari and quitting smoking. He saved a lot of lives with that.
great interview,finished now
to bed now, tomorrow going on that bike trip to the bike fest this weekend
Going from Cluj-Napoca to Timisoara, riding for like 315 KM,almost 200 miles for you
P.S. Happy 4th of July,i'll be spending it on the road
Keep riding baby without weapons without violence without hatred ❤
I believe Norman Reedus said he wanted to look a little different because of everyone looking too pretty so I don't think he did it as a disrespectful thing I think he just was trying to stand out as far as a characters look
If you want to know what was behind the idea of the teeth , you should interview Norman Reedus, they were his idea
Bike Rider movie well acted. This movie took place also 20 years after the Hollister rally that changed MC's. Even in the 60"s still easy just a start a MC just before the Hollister rally. In the movie the original members didn't like the younger members ways. Tom Hardy played a good leader. Austin Butler character want both his love. He ended leaving the club and got the woman. If the Hollister rally staged autograph didn't hope how would MC's be today? I think they changed slower. Growing up in 70's we rode mini anywhere meeting different riders. We also would jump our bicycles like Evil Kneivel. We all got along. I wish I could have met the real Funny Sonny and had a beer with him. I think Funny Sonny would have like the days before Hollister
All clubs got a long drink beer together, race bikes for beer. When my dad was young he heard a pack of bikes coming. One bike came over the hill first. The rider was stand on his seat. Than the other 11 bikes came over hill. A sent to see my dad said. There is another bike rider that's in the Sturgis museum hall of frame. Look up Gloria Struck. She started riding when women couldn't ride. She never gave up . She couldn't did hotel or motel room cause she rode a bike. Label an outcast She I guess rode up to 90 years old. The later years Gloria rose with her daughter. Would like to here more stories from George and Old John. Especially bikers before the Hollister rally. P.S. maybe cool places to ride to.
Respect Mr George Christie and Respect SOSE and Respect to MC culture

i seen george in the early 90s at pismo beach hanging out at Hartys bar and grill
I saw an interview Norman said he did the teeth thing because all the other actors are good looking guys so he wanted to be different.
BX bro, I saw the movie last friday with my son. I thought it was pretty good. George Christie is right, the way they showed the transformation from the old school to the new school guys was dead on. I’ve seen that at a big party down here every year, new faces, and idk who the hell they are. Makes ya feel old quick. lol your dong a hell of a job BX bro. Can’t wait to see what’s next.
Norman already answered that question. He wanted to look different, not all clean cut.
Shining the light of love on the culture. Thank you for the open minded approach. More truth less fiction. That’s why I’m here.
The Bikeriders was excellent!!!
Y’all have to see Norman Reedus show Ride! If you haven’t already, it’s dope
Never could i ever let a man named dougy poo kick me out of anything
Sometimes seeing a story from a different perspective is refreshing. Patched membership don't always tell stories..if you know, you know..🤫
it was a very goood movie .. it wasnt exactly what i was expecting i was expecting them to learn more into the crime side and wild side of the life from how the trailers made it seem .
At the ending of the movie, it felt to real. It's basically how it is being in a top 10 1%er MC. People are serious most of the time.
Those two clearly had enough respect for each other to set their differences aside and realize they had more alike than different. Peace be upon you Sose AND EVERYONE reading this.5:20 pm cst
Norman said he wanted to wear the teeth like that because he didn't want to look like Daryl Dixon.
Oh fuck yeah if Norman is in the new bikers film im gonna watch it now
@@DemonsRow he already plays one of the inspirations for me getting a bike, he just keeps going. God what i would give to meet that man
Love your new video keep it up your Amazing 😎😎😎😎😎😎😎💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯
Sose. I saw an interview with Norman and he said the teeth were his idea. He said that he did it because they had a lot of good looking guys in the movie and he wanted to go in a little bit of a different direction
I would like to see you interview Norman
@DemonsRow Norman seems as humble as they come and he loves the life, I bet it would be possible if you could get in touch with the right people. If not in person maybe like a zoom call or something
Told u that kid was 🌮 Bowman I wanna see that movie on him. Need a part 2! Bike riders is a great movie. Hands down. Classic! Team Jimmy! I seen that hells angels gangland Washington episode years ago. Funny sunny got on the phone he was ordering some food then he brought up he was an angel next thing u know they put the boots 2 him stole most of his hells angels memorabilia. Yeah & they did Santa wrong. Killed him at the BBQ. But anyway we need that taco movie! From the first time I saw him I knew it was him! Rip taco. Great interview side. LH&r 4 George Christie. I would like 2 know more about slave Louie & old man John. MERCED CO GHO⚡TIN! 209
Biker movies are no different than mafia movies or street gang movies.
Excellent and Wicked content Sose Man! You're knocking it out of the park Man! Oh Yeah We're Ghostin# Baby!! Mike from Wales over here in the UK 👍🤘😎🏴
Another question, what was the first M.C . ever ?
@@DemonsRow cool thanks, I have never heard of them . But hey you learn something new everyday.
What’s the movies name
Norman said they didn’t want him to look like Daryl in a recent interview so he brought glasses teeth and beard on set with him he also didn’t know the glasses were prescribed too till they started filming
He talked about the teeth on Jimmy Kemal interview
What club has been around the longest
What if they did that to Norman’s teeth in effort to keep him from looking like Daryl Dixon? I confess I didn’t recognize him right off the bat
Niiiiiice.
Hey Sose,
If you want to know the real story about Funny Sonny's involvment with the AOA, and Danny Lyon, reachout to Surfer in Florida. Surfer has been an active Outlaw since 1965. He was there when Lyon took that pic of Funny Sonny on the back of Zipco's bike.
Take care brother.

I came back for the 3rd. time to add to my comments. Yeah I been drinking vodka cokes i m will try to write something down now and repost. the Bike Rider movie awesome
⚡️⚡️✌️
Also I remember watching that gangland with funny sonny about some new younger 81 member forg3t his name he heard that funny sonny said he used to be a member and had some memorabilia from the club and they came there beat him up and took his club memorabilia he was out with good standing thats why he had some club stuff and they beat him up with a hammer and said something like nobody says there ex 81 you're either in the club or you're out of the club. Then Santa got killed over it to.
Haven't seen the movie yet, but most people aren't happy when family members are portrayed in movies ..
Yet some ride the fifteen minutes of fame..
I think the Hells Angels needs George Christie in NY, they used to be in Manhattan but now they are in the Bronx and their numbers seem to be alot smaller. meanwhile in NY i notice the pegans are everywhere in Manhattan. I think if he was there then they would not have gotten raided and/or the hells angels probably would still be in Manhattan. What do you think chat?
Anybody else want to see Mel Chancy and George Christie just sit and tell stories?? Not necessarily an “interview” just kind of like campfire stories
George Christie jumps on with @SoseTheGhost to talk about it. His full interview is here👉th-cam.com/video/rFe3SpYpfvI/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=DemonsRow
