Sitting here 3 years after this came out thanking you guys for it all. Without this film and the 5001 group I’d have probably ended things by now. Giving inspiration to ride to us younger lads is just phenomenal.
They made me get through some tough stuff. They made me choose something where I could meet with myself. Even with friends, but mostly alone. People do not get what it is like to build a flow trail for yourself, and then using it, and just letting everything go for those second, while you are riding. They made me find peace in the woods. I rode before I find them, but afterwards everything changed. I begin to be more stable inside. I wish if I once go to England I can hug them and thank them. 6 years passed. I am searching for that peace again.
That gap over the rock to the smooth built up landing was one of the sickest things i've ever seen, love the reaction from the crew too, fucking ace. Stoked for bikes now.

This video is art. To me, it didn't feel like the video was about the mountain biking. The sick stunts were just a plus. Whatever they were doing in this video didn't matter. Hell, they could have been doing stunts on a pogo stick. No, instead, this video was about the camaraderie of man. Its about a group of great friends got together and did something they loved, and that was mountain biking. When they landed those sick jumps, whips, 360s, cavemans, whatever it was, their friends were there to stoke them on. And when they fell, their friends were the arm they grabbed to help them back up. This is friendship in its greatest form, and it its dope.
That tree hand tap honestly gave me goosebumps man, so hard to watch this without wanting to pick up the tools and go carve out some fresh lines, inspiration in a video man, great work as ever. Keep it going lads 🤘🏼 50⚡️01 xx
I watched A LOT of videos in my life because I'm really interested in cinematography, but I can't really think of one I love this much. But not only this one. Most of the short movies made by 50to1 crew are so nice. Yeah, you can shred af, ride gnarly things, do insane sketchy combos. But most beautiful is how much you enjoy everything about that, spending time with friends, love for riding, pure happiness of successfully pulling insane line. It inspires me so much. Thank you 50to1.
