Sounds like a perfect spicy vanilla. What a beautiful gift. Looks great in your collection as well. I'm excited for fall and wearing rich spicy perfumes. Thanks.
Yes! I was hoping you were going to review this. Such a great review, one of my favourites from you. I love the way describe some of the notes. It sounds interesting and the gold flakes are really attractive too! I’ll have to give this a try. Thanks for the video, Peter! xx
If any reviewer deserves free bottles, it's you Peter. I personally love this one. You described it perfectly. Definitely not your typical vanilla. Plus that tolu balsam almost reminds me of the consistency of toffee in the base. Like a deep, viscous cream.
so glad you did this! its in my top five fragrances! although it comes off more sticky slightly sweet gourmand on my skin which is why i love it so much!
The whole thing sounds lovely, especially if it contains as much cardamom as it sounds like it does. I've never thought of cardamom this way, until reading reviews of Lune Feline on fragrantica... Some people mention crispy bacon. Do you agree with the "crispy bacon" perception of this fragrance?
Purchased samples of Atelier Des Ors Rose Omyyade. The most alluring fragrance of my life. Rich yet subtle rose. Too many notes for me to try to describe but it's awesome. One of those rare fragrances that makes you want to touch yourself. (sorry, but true)
This one does sound quite interesting, even more so as I haven't come across a fragrance with a true and intense Peru balsam note. In Orlando by Jardins d'ecrivains to me it was very present, but not as the true balsam but more with certain aspects of it, lending the perfume a kind of sickness and melancholy with the sweetness of decay. I've used it in form of the raw balsam, the resinoid and an essential oil, but never as a main player as for me it's hard to find a ratio where this note gets intense without overbearing other notes. And as it's restricted, I didn't even think I might find a perfume which might display this material nicely these days. A pitty noone in my area has this house one their shelves, but I might order a sample online.
Sounds very interesting. Did you care for el born by carner Barcelona ? I dont think they are similar at all, but i think it is a decent versatile vanilla.
I took out my sample of this and followed along as you described it. Agree with the parade of notes, I find it has bits of salty dry yet leathery qualities in the mids. I enjoyed the course it follows but not enough for a full bottle no matter how pretty. Thanks this was fun.
I thought it would be a fall winter fragrance as you were describing it. I’m sure a lot of women can pull this off but it seems a bit heavy for my liking. Although, the projection and longevity sounds fantastic.
That sounds really quite up my alley. Big fan of non-munchie vanilla ☺️. Do you think the flakes would cause problems with the atomizer later on towards the end of the bottle?
You sound surprised, if you watch any other larger youtube review channel, you'll find that most of them are frequently given free bottles for review. Steven and Carlos almost always get free bottles, it's nothing new. I am one of the few reviewers that don't accept them very often I flew to a perfume fair in Italy to look around and meet my other reviewer friends, and meet perfumers. The woman who is head of sales called Meghan recognised me, since she watches some of my videos. She got talking to me about my diving, and my dog.. and asked if I had smelled the collection, which I had not.. so she showed me the best ones, I mentioned that I liked this one the most, and she asked if I would like a tester bottle to review. So no I did not contact them, and I did not ask for a free bottle.
@@FragranceView I want to start to get into perfumery, I have watched the full guide, I just wanted to know, which oils should I start off with? I dont want to spend too much, this is primarily to see if I enjoy perfumery or not.
Wrote the first comment halfway through the video Watched all of it now, You are so insightful just wonderful.
Love Lune Féline so much! 😍 And your description is top notch!!
Glad you enjoy it!
Glad you enjoy it!
Is it more feminine in your opinion???
Its really one of the best bottle presentations. I have yet to sample this. will definitely keep an eye out.
The new blue bottles are very nice, the way they scatter the blue light from the back like a ripple of water reflection
Beautiful bottle, and presentation. Tried some perfumes of that house, but haven't tried this one. Sounds nice, likeable. Thanks for the review!
Thank you!

thanks! I prefer the colder weather perfumes too

Thank you! the toffee consistency is a good analogy!
Love the way you review! This one is a bonfire type smoky vanilla on me. In a swap with Claire luckily I got a sample:)
What is the note that smells like the dentist office on the dry down? This happened to me with Good Girl too.
Great review Mate! My concern was that most reviews put it female leaning. Glad to hear your take on it.

I’m looking for a grown up vanilla. I’m starting to steer away from super sweet fragrances in my fragrance journey. Hoping to get my hands on a sample
I like your honesty wonderful video!!!
Yes I know what you mean when you say cardamom has a fresh and bright quality to it. It’s one of my favorite spices to smell in my spice cabinet
Hey Amber
Hiii
Where would you put this in comparison to Musc Ravegeur and Mona Di Orio Vanille?
Great review Peter..
Please give us a seasonal top 10 of your favorites..

I don't smell crispy bacon personally!! But there is a slight darkness / odd note to it, that is hard to explain.. I wouldn't say bacon at all though
Top-notch review, Peter! Enjoyed...
Cheers Jim, appreciate it
Love your videos Peter. If you could get your hands on Inperial Crown by Thameen and review it that would be awesome. Cheers
Thank you!
Just wondering, between Lune Feline and Naxos, which would you prefer more in general?
Lune Feline

It's noticeable in this one
I like does bottles , i got to fined a store that Carrie's them so i can try the blue ones
Blue ones are nice

I wasn't too enamoured with that one personally!

This is a lovely take on vanilla. Nice breakdown mate👍🏻
Cheers buddy
I really like this, except for the musk that shows up in the drydown... Musk tends to ruin fragrances for me...
Have u tried un bois vanille from serge? Also an ungourmand vanilla
I have, but I don't remember it properly by now
This sounds so good , especially since the weather is starting to cool down. It'll be one I'll have to check out. Appreciate your take as always 🙏
Thanks buddy

It will be heavy for some people I agree!
I like this perfume but I don’t go for it much !it’s a winter fragrance by all means
For sure
I see me buying this today especially after reading your blue bottle comment
Sample first
Thumbs up 👍
Cheers
Is it me or does this become a skin scent very fast? It barely projects after an hour unless it's olfactory fatigue
Ask people can they still smell it after you wear it for an hour, then you'll know..
That sounds really quite up my alley. Big fan of non-munchie vanilla ☺️. Do you think the flakes would cause problems with the atomizer later on towards the end of the bottle?
Doesn't seem to no... the gold flakes come out and land on your skin
Good job trying to explain an odd (but nice) frag....
When did companies start giving you perfumes to review? And do you contact them?

Are you concerned about brexit disrupting imported perfumery supplies?
Not really no, they ship with DHL, I don't think much will change to be honest in that regard
