Going to be getting out of the blurry 1080p any time soon? The 1080p is starting to stand out as most Japanese TH-camrs are starting to record their Digimon TCG games in 4K and on the 4K TV in the living room... the cards are so clearly it's like you're standing over the table. Which is way better than the 75% detail loss of stepping down to 1080p.

Question to Paddy since he runs I-dramon in most videos except for the vs Mastemon, how's the new I-dramon deck feels compared to the older combo? I've been trying out and it does have newer combos to fight the new meta, but it feels....less explosive compared to before?

The new deck feels alot better. You don’t really need 3 memory i.e memory tamers, at the start to do combos like last time as you can hard play or go over by just 1-2 memory and at the end of turn inherits allow you to DNA evolve which gives memory refunds.
Would recommend playing more hammer sparks so you can pull of combos easier. I haven’t tested this much so it’s more of a theory. Hope it helps.
Your edits are 10/10. The effects remain on the screen and you actually explain. It is really useful for newcomers.

That snowball effect comeback was absolutely insane! Made me really want to try out the deck
Its fun and boring the fun part when you pull off the combo its freakin satisfying actually alter B can trash first security with ess blitzgrey and then trigger its when attacking to trash 3 lvl6 to trash 2 more security and continue attacking kinda 4 security check gimmick.
Omnimon to Imperialdramon during this match: "You were good kid, real good. But as long as I'm around you'll always be second best see."

I noticed an error (albeit an ultimately inconsequential one) at 7:30.
When Protagonist activated Alter-S' effect, he placed Alter-S at the top of his security. This is not what happens, since Alter-S explicitly states that it places itself at the bottom of your security stack.
I think that the play at 9:15 is also an error. Tai and Matt say "when your digimon digivolved" so it misses the timing on Greymon's digivolve trigger, meaning he would've had to manually digivolve into Garurumon to start the chain again.
If Matt and Tai said "When your digimon is digivolving," I think it would've been a legal play. I could be mistaken though.
@@mkgibertjrit’s not an error and that’s actually how the tamer is meant to be played. The only thing that happened here is he delayed greymon’s on digivolve effect and used the tamer effect to put a body on the board first AND THEN he uses greymon’s on digivolve effect to digivolve the newly played digimon. It’s the same mechanic as the new ai & mako tamer from beelzemon structure deck. Before using the milling effects of your digimon on digivolution, you get to rest ai & mako first so you can put a card on top of your deck and have more control of your mills.

I'm actually going to attempt a tri-color deck using my UlforceVeedramon starter deck as base the colors are going to be Blue, Yellow, and Purple

So good to finally see my main boi alter s appear in one of your videos, also misplay with the alter s, it goes to bottom of security for the removal effect, it wouldnt have changed the outcome of the battle anyway

That last turn was absolutely unreasonable. You started with 2 memory, a rookie, a Tamer that gave 1 memory and a memory boost. 5 memory and a rookie and you were able to DNA digivolve into an Omnimon and even go further to Alter-B.
Clearly memory blockers will still be important in this format.

That Rookie to Mega level Ladder Loop was just ridiculous. And Alter B can take out 3 Tamers? That last turn was just off the charts.
can delete tamer max 3 but you need to discard 3 lvl 6 or higher in ess
Damn this game looks so fun. I love how decks are based on a main line of Digimon with the appropriate tamer.

Even I didn't play the game anymore (can't find anyone to play within my area), I still enjoying watching your video and really make me itching to play again. Your edit, pacing, audio quality, is on another level. All of the cards are clear to see, effect are highlighted, even a total noob can understand the state of the game. I just refined my blue/green Imperialdramon deck and seeing how good the starter deck alone is and the Paladin mode i pulled with 2 fighter modes I feel like this is gonna be a fun non competitive deck to play with my other 3 buddies

Omnimon turbo jogreds has exactly what imperial turbo from ex03 needed. A tamer to play digimon qhene volving without paying cost and a way to trash sec to end game fast. But well.... bandai love omni morr i guess snif

Holy cow! I did not expect that last turn from Omnimon. This is why I love digimon tcg so much. Games can turn around just like that. Now I've got another deck to look forward to building.

Alter-S is supposed to enter the bottom of the security stack, not the top. It doesn't seem like it affected the gameplay of this match much luckily
I wonder how the rulling really work.. I really wanna try it but seems it 10x more confusing than Yu-Gi oh rulling
