It is surprising that they only made one silver card. This set seems really good and full of unique cards! It is very unfortunate that the pull rates aren’t that good.

XY has always been one of my favorite expansions. I had so much fun opening them and still do to this day.
This has to be one of the saddest openings ever. 2000 dollars and you only get a 25 dollar return. I appreciate the commitment you have to us viewers!! Keeping doing what your doing!!
Phantom Forces was always one of my favorite sets from XY, and mainly due to the anazing Gengar artworks! So happy to see this set be opened again ❤

They definitely need to bring back the silver rarity. Although, I'd do like a bronze sheen for lower rarity and then chrome finish and call it a platinum rarity. Could be interesting.

These XY artworks are beautiful and the different ways the Pokemon show the art is so cool 😎
One of the issues this set has is it can be weighed. Back when they had packs, people would weigh them and leave the packs with no hits.
I love that Heatran holo. Flare cards are pretty legit as well. I wish they still did the support cards that way.
Those old booster boxes are so much for such little return! Love opening packs but buying the cards just makes more financial sense, but less fun.

Sometimes (especially in cases like this) pack openings feel like lottery ticket. But its fun to watch.

The X&Y era is one of the coolest eras in my opinion. The EX pulls are ABSOLUTELY amazing!
it's really a shame there will never be more silver or gold cards they are so unique in the pokemon tcg. I've only ever seen and held one irl once in a card shop. Sadly whoever sold it to the store didnt take care of it and the card was creased real bad. Broke my heart

Don’t think I’ve opened up any from this set. Stopped opening after the 4th gen cards and recently started up again a few weeks ago

The XY era was the era that brought me back to Pokemon since I was a kid. Unfortunately I took a break during Sun and Moon. But this took me back to sitting in my friends basement ripping packs.
Gengar is my second favourite after Scizor! I’m hoping to collect every variation of Scizor cards ever printed

The Flare card, the silver card, and the plasma cards are all so unique. Do you think Scarlet and Violet will have some kind of unique cards in the upcoming sets or will they just stick to the normal formula?
i miss the good old days where the holo rares were the best. i still get excited when i pull a holo rare mewtwo or dragonite

Crazy to think I bought a Phantom Forces booster box back when it was new for ~$100. Even at that time I was considering investing in unopened boxes, but it just seems so lame to me. Packs are meant to be opened. I would have been $2,000 richer today though lol. But I did manage to pull the Fullmetal Dialga out of it, which is one of my favorite memories of the hobby.

Personally, I love the team Flare cards, their texture is wild. It would have been incredible if they keept up doing special cards for the other evil teams
This video and the flashfire video show why PSA 10s from early XY era are criminally undervalued. You barely pull anything good out of a ton of packs and when you do pull something good it's PSA 8 or 9 condition at best. And if the PSA 10s are undervalued then then boxes are definitely undervalued. In a few years I think phantom forces and flashfire will see 5k+ per box sales. They should be almost at that now.

The only silver card they've ever released I think they need to stick to that and make it super cool feel if they do another silver card they will ruin the rarity of the dialga
