No James it is actual speed. The distortion is a result of the video smoothing process: it's quite hard driving a rib and videoing at the same time in this waves!
I'm not buying it. At .25 the bend in the mast is caused by anti wobble, however it doesn't explain the appearance of dropped frames, which can be explained by playing at 1.25.
Sorry you don't want to buy it. The DVD has sold well and feedback is excellent. As I said, the taster clip is 100% speed, I have used slow motion to demonstrate some of the boat handling techniques in the DVD, obviously the TH-cam clip is not full quality.
