Us vegans never understand how non vegans can say we don't have enough protein?? Beans, Legumes, lentils, Tofu, Tempeh, Soybeans, Peanuts and so on. My bloodwork is always perfect!
I think, you get enough protein in if you try adding protein to every meal. for health i think its totally fine. but if you wanna build muscle or your fighting cancer, it will probaly be hard to get enough in through just plant based items, even if you do get in enough for that it wouldn't be optimal because of the type of protein. i think it really just depends on your lifestyle/life situasjon.
I was vegan for most of my 20s and already exercising a lot, but couldn’t build muscle, I was always tired, and developed intolerance to legumes. Reintroducing chicken/turkey/fish, changed everything. Much better digestion and great muscle development. Veganism has great health benefits and is good to the planet, but not to build muscle.
@@nadegecreativefitnessquestion! OMG I so much love you. In fact you always help me to lose anxiety and when I feel really bad or really sad or whatever I always watch your videos. You grow so fast! I really look up to you always. Thanks for sharing your love and content. But I'm still working on my mental health problems...🖤🖤🖤
Anna, you have helped me so much with trying new food, becoming active, and just simply helping my mental health! you are such an amazing influence on me! ❤️❤️thank you so so much ! I don’t know what I would do without you! ❤️❤️
Hey Anna, enjoyed this video, I've been a vegan for 7 years now. A good savory breakfeast can be an easy one, you can do your avocado toast but instead of egg you can put some legumes, like chickpeas or beans or lentils, they can come whole or as a spread, with some spices. There are also some great vegan and fitness youtubers out there, for examole Simnnet Nutrition.
I always wanted to be vegan, but my parents didn't allow me to do so. Just the day after our holiday last year, I told my mother "I am 18 years old now. I am old enough to decide on my own and it is my decision to make." And ever since then, I am vegan. I have had one ore two days in which I struggled and had cravings for skyr, but other than taht I am feeling more alive and like myself. I do neither miss cheese, nor meat, fish, milk or eggs. The only thing I crave sometimes is real joghurt. But since I love alpro, I can deal with it. Greetings from southern Germany.
Hey Anna! Thank you so much for your video! I really loved this vegan edition and the last one on Korean food too! It’s just great to someone talk about vegan food in a positive way even if they’re not vegan themselves ☺️ we need more people like you! I’ve been vegan for soon seven years and made most of my muscle gain on a vegan diet- for me it works and I’ve never felt weak or struggling with food. If anything I think my diet has become more varied since going plantbased - and a better cook! Tofu and beans are definitely my protein staples , oats too are quite high in protein and good for workout recovery. I agree with you though that protein powder is a good and probably necessary thing to take if you workout a lot - I definitely find my recovery is quicker and better . Agree with you also about some vegan products with loads of artificial ingredients not being the healthiest - especially certain mock meats. Whole foods is the best way to go really. Beans on toast could be a vegan savoury breakfast option - so many varieties too! For your next video - a Mexican good day would be cool! Or if you want an extra challenge - raw food for a day! I’ll see you in your next workout ! 🥰♥️
I "turn vegan" for religious reasons a few times per year (for 6 weeks) and I start those weeks making a list of recipes. Never never have I finished the list 😅 there are more options to eat non-animal origin food that we think possible. My favourite part about vegan food is that is faster and easier to cook
Trying to go vegan on a random day or week will be challenging. You’re just not used to it. But when you commit to doing the best thing for animals, and make veganism your lifestyle, it becomes much easier.
God made animals for us. The chickens aren’t mad we’re taking eggs from them and cows aren’t mad about the milk because they already fed their baby’s what they need before humans take milk
@@kaeleigh_02 The chickens have been bred to make eggs at such an unnatural rate that it deteriorates their bodies. And they are kept so tightly packed they get injured and sick very easily. And they are just waste products at that point. Plus, any boy chickens that come out of hatcheries are blended alive or gassed to death because they don’t lay eggs and are not needed. For cows, they are artificially inseminated to be pregnant as much as possible. Their babies are taken away so we can have all the milk. It is very distressing for both the mother and baby to be separated. When the female cows are no longer highly fertile, at about 1/4 their whole natural life, they are sent to a slaughterhouse just like a beef cow. God also made plants. Let’s just eat those so we don’t treat animals so badly just to use them for our benefit.
Thank you Anna, great video as usual and I get so much inspiration to try vegan foods. Can you try a *healthy junk food*😁 like healthy burgers or healthy pizza bc this is something I really struggle rn, I eat lots of junk food, and I'll be really glad if I find some healthy options and I think you can do that because I love your healthy dessert that you create, thank you soo much❤❤❤
Nuts and seeds have also a really high protein level, if you want to increase the protein intake without eating any animal product. :) For example, nuts and seeds flours (like pumpkin seed flour, almond flour etc.) are super ingredients, which are also sustainable (by-products of cold-pressed seed oil production), very tasty, natural, free from gluten or dairy and can be eaten raw (like a protein powder because they are in fact).
Fresh strawberries are just my happy comfort food at the moment. Seeing you eating the pancakes with the strawberries inspired me to do something similiar soon. 💙 And by the way-this striped dress suits you so well! 🤗

Hey Anna :) thanks for the cool video. As a long-term vegan, I can recommend breakfast burritos, hash browns with tofu, savoury breakfast muffins (avantgarde vegan has a great recipe for that), vegan omelettes etc. As for the muscle thing: Many athletes/fitness influencers are vegans, such as strongman Patrick Baboumian, Nimai Delgado or Derek Simnett.

Getting in enough protein also doesn’t have to be hard, but you gotta be mindful about it. For example, in my country (I’m your western neighbour, hallo!) most people have a cold lunch like bread with a slice of cheese. Similar to your brötchen. 🥪 That’s not going to cut it with getting in your protein, especially with vegan cheese (which has no nutritional value at all).
