- No BS. To the point.
This one took way more time and effort than you can comprehend. Many lessons have been learned.

As someone who daily drives a 987 25,000 miles a year, including a fair amount of night time commuting, I can tell you that the following headlight bulbs changed my life.
NIGHTEYE 2X H7 LED Headlight Bulbs Kit 60W 12000LM Hi-Lo Beam 6500K Super Bright
Enjoy!
I have a 06 boxster S headlights are just fine I don't know what he's on about with the headlights being useless. My Mitsubishi eclipse headlights are far worse they're not even at HIDs
Hi bud, I’m looking at buying one for a semi-daily/weekend car (in a work van throughout the week) to replace my v8 Audi S5. Have you had many issues with yours?
@@brad15020 the Gen 2 is pretty solid, replaced some work out suspension and a failed MAF sensor. Door membrane also failed so re-glued that in. That’s it so far except usual servicing. I’d say the running costs are reasonable, unless you drive 2000 miles a month in it like me at which point the fuel bill is crippling.
@@christhorne7565 always nice to know it’s solid aside from a couple niggly bits. And tbf I’m used to awful fuel economy anyway so that’s no dramas
@@brad15020 Yeah, go for it! You won’t be disappointed, truly great to drive something so small light and nimble. Mine is the 2.9 and I thought I’d want more power but I don’t really… chassis from the gods, get a good geo and enjoy B road bliss! They’re also fairly easy to work on so you can sort a lot of stuff yourself if you’re happy tinkering. For reference mine just ticked over 132,000 miles and is going strong.
the 3.4L ones cost about 40k here in Germany..
Great presentation 👏
Great video
Still about 245 BHP , And that's why I decided to get this one over the S version because it's riddled with problems! And it's only half a second slower in acceleration to 60 miles an hour.
Should have bought a 2006 S with the better IMS bearing I have 2006 S boxster the extra horsepower is nice I had S2000 (240bhp) prior n I wanted something with more power but still sexy
I’d avoid a gen 1 cayman S like the plague, you’re better off with the gen 2 base or S!
what year is this?
This was brilliantly done 👌🏽😎
I love this format well done! I'd watch a million of these.
Love it thinking of getting one for my channel. However, scared of the 987.1 cause of IMS and the Cayman S bore scoring issue.
Dont let it scare you bro that issue affects very little cars. I drove mine from Chicago to New York with 0 issues
Kudos! This is such a well-done format! I've watched a lot of your videos and this was a great short-form summation.
Brilliant Video. May I ask how tall you are?
Jesus, I thought I recognized the car park, my ex used to live in the block opposite 😂
I got one since 2020 and it will ever be mine.
Love this format
987 is much better thn 986
Headlights are useless?
Compared to modern LEDs they are like candles!
Seen a good one for sale, 15k....I'm really tempted to buy it!😊
I love how it’s stock and you drive like you stoled it👍👍
Thanks man! Too many see these cars as something that should be put on a pedestal. Not me. They're made to be used, hard 😀
@@MarkCup70 absolutely 👍

What app was that to display the total cost of the car?
great job!
Poor man’s porker - sell it and buy something decent like you had before.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It's the rich man's beetle, I'll have you know! 😂
Which engine was this?
It's the base model 2.7 litre.
Needs revving hard though. Got a nice thin rim. That's what she said 😅
That's quite deep, you'll get loads in there. That's what she said
