I cannot wait to try V12 on the obstructed B-pillar camera intersections near my house. Right now I cannot use FSD until I leave my neighborhood. Note- you don't have to say "take me to" just say the destination name and FSD knows what to do. Also hope it knows how to handle an intersection when the Stop sign is 30-40 feet from the intersection. We have lots of those where I live. Human knows to go right to the intersection and stop. FSD stops at the stop sign and then takes 10 seconds to creep jerkily forward.

Much improved over the latest release on my model Y! If you're ever in San Jose, try it on some of our "road diet" roads. They've converted the far right lane so that half is a bike lane and the other half is a buffer zone. Lot's of solid and dashed lines with right turn breaks at intersections and driveways, plus pylons here and there, all of which confuses the hell out of FSD. A few times it tried to enter the bike/buffer lane thinking it's a vehicle lane!

Makes it easier to imagine I’m in the car being driven by FSD. One funny thing: when you said “this will save the life of someone you love” I said to myself, “and you’ll never know”. Then a second later, you verbalized my thoughts. People won’t know that they’ve had their life spared, but as the statistics accumulate it will be undeniable. Someday the world will look back on drunk driving, teenage car crashes, head-on collisions due to sleepy drivers, etc as a dark chapter in human history.

Just go and watch videos from a year ago, you had bunch of disagreements over short period of time, now biggest issue is with car waiting longer than expected to start going after new destination is set and maybe waiting too long on cross roads if there is more complicated situation, both instances are tiny and could be fully ignored.
This is basically the final fundamental change to this entire system, its end to end, so no more huge rewrites, it only needs more training data to get better.

At minute 31 you arrived at a parking lot. I think it let you choose to park (where you wanted to), or continue on. NICE

Looking good. Omar, what setting did you have for this drive? Chill Average Assertive? Sometime it would be informative to do the same drive with the different settings to show what the difference is.

Looks pretty good on this drive - limited interaction with traffic but still a huge jump toward human-like behavior. Hope you see some improvements incrementally - does it take a fully download on an update or does it add incremental changes on the fly ?

What model is your Tesla? I like the dashboard but not sure it’s needed. But, very nice. Excellent demo of FSD 12.1.2. Can’t wait to try it out in Florida in all weather conditions. Nice to see some of the Bay Area. Hadn’t seen that view of the Golden Gate Bridge in 40 years.

My biggest gripe with FSD so far, is the car wanting to change lanes in city driving. It may perceive the other lane is moving faster, but if I’m within 1-2 miles of making a turn, I want to stay in that lane. I don’t mind it wanting to move into a faster lane on the highway, but it really pisses me off on city drives. Even being in chill, and minimize lane changes doesn’t matter.
Minimize lane changes needs to be a latching button so we don’t have to set it everytime we start a drive. It would be nice if it was an option for the long press on left scroll wheel!
    I hope v12 solves this.
