    Good list Mike. Along the lines of survival, I'd add some emergency blankets, fire starting supplies, paracord, electronic road flares and if there's room, a lightweight tarp. There's also cheap ham radios you can get for emergencies.

    I suggest a little bigger and stronger shovel for the trail...You want to be able to reach underneath the vehicle Incase of getting high-centered 💪

      Good idea! I will add it to the kit. Thanks!

    Wouldn’t a breaker bar be better then a impact gun More uses doesn’t die still works if wet Less cost just a thought

      Yeah that's a good idea. I will definitely add that to the kit. Thanks!

    Extra fuses? Medal zip ties? Extra goggles/riding glasses? Good low pressure tire gauge? If alone synthetic tow rope extension? Depending of weather rain poncho? Electrical tape? If working on or using wire cable winch Extra gloves? Extra tie downs, bungee cords or ratchet straps? Polaris Ride Command or map of trails traveling on? Toilet paper/Wet wipes? Extra miscellaneous parts nuts & bolts, cotter pins and other parts you may brake or replace more frequently?
    If I think of anymore I will add them. Just My Thoughts...

    @UTV DIRT very good video, and very good advice on the proper tools 🛠 to carry. I like everyone’s suggestions also, I would carry a big tarp and maybe a small water proof tent. If you were to get stranded in the woods overnight. Glad you put up this video, y’all reminded me that I need to get a bag together for our Polaris.

    • @UTVDIRT
      @UTVDIRT  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Those are all good items to add to the kit. I just wanted to remind people to be prepared when you go riding cause you never know what's going to happen. Thank you!

    Thank you for the clear and concise layout. To many people in here just throw stuff in as box.
    I do wanna ask, you mentioned you didn't want to take up a lot of space in the back. Where does your kit ride?

    Did you choose a spot to mount the fire extinguisher yet?

    • @UTVDIRT
      @UTVDIRT  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I decided to put it in the bag of the tool kit. That way I don't have to worry about it getting damaged by branches or debris.

      I mounted mine inside right above the center of the rear window with a aluminum constructed quick release. It works perfect for both riders with easy access and it protects it from the elements. The quicker you get the fire out the less damage sustained. I also have heard mounting some extinguishers sideways helps keeps the retardants mixed up. Thanks for all your videos! I have the same Ranger and appreciate all your feedback.

    There is nothing in that kit that has been used. What did you do go to Walmart one day and decide to buy some stuff? What makes a good video is when the presenter can give you advice and recommendations based on real world experience. Not when they go on a shopping trip. Go get some experience.

    • @UTVDIRT
      @UTVDIRT  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You are correct I went and bought new stuff so that I could put links in the description of video for all the tools so that people could find the tools for purchase and not show some old crap that has been used and abused for 10 years. If you dont like it then just move along. Thanks for watching!
