Bormes-les-Mimosas is a small village in the Var clinging to the side of a hill, a sort of flowery balcony over an intense blue Mediterranean... Lower down, Le Lavandou and its beaches, the fort of Brégançon not far from the open sea then the sunny coasts of the Côte d'Azur.Bormes-les-Mimosas, a superb flowery village on the coast, has an enormous variety of different flowers, including the famous mimosas.
The medieval village :
Heritage of the 12th century, referenced among the most beautiful sites in France, the village of Bormes les Mimosas is an essential stopover for lovers of old stones and history enthusiasts!
Bormes-les-Mimosas is located in the department of Var in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region. This French commune is located on the edge of the Mediterranean and in the southern part of the Moorish massif. Like any locality in the region, the climate is Mediterranean with high heat in July.
The tourist attractions of this city are many. The most important of these is the old castle which is located on a hill. Then comes St. Francis Square where you can see a statue of St. Francis de Paul, a famous monk who lived there in the fifteenth century.
In Bormes-les-Mimosas, the maximum temperature during the hottest months (July and August) is 29°C and the minimum temperature during the coldest months (December, January and February) is 3°C. The city further records around 2850 hours of sunshine per year and around 58 rainy days per year.
Saint Trophyme Church: was built in the 18th century. Its architecture is predominantly Romanesque. Many chamber music concerts are held here.

Looking at these beauties overall, I can totally see why France is the most visited country in the world. It has everything: from an iconic global city like Paris that needs no introduction with the most famous landmarks and museums in the world, to the little picturesque and quiet towns and villages, to the southern chic warm French Riviera with famous beaches, up to the majestic French Alps for skiing, with the largest ski resort in the world; all combined with an extraordinary rich culture, history, cuisine, architecture and high development. France is truly a country to be proud for. Also cudos to French people for well preserving these places.

Вместе с автором, подстраиваясь под его дыхание:)), я два раза прошлась по улочкам этой дивной деревни, рассматривая детали всей этой Красоты с большой буквы. Какая красота, тихая деревушка с оригинальной архитектурой. Мы слышим звуки птиц, всюду красота и уют. Так приятно, наверное, жить в таком селении. Нет изматывающего лая собак, они не бегают сворами по улицам как у нас в Томске. Да, повезло людям -жителям.
В рф своры собак даже взрослых загрызают на смерть. А что же рф так пиарится своим якобы величием, когда народ живет рядом с мусорными свалками от токсичного яда которой дохнет население рф. Слабо убрать свою местность, срать же легче !!? И вообще зачем русским оркам земля Украины, если в своей не могут навести порядок??? Европа.
Повезло людям, потому что они ладят с головой, природой и разумом. Эти люди создали рай на земле. Глядя на все это --- хочется жить.
