How to Continental Knit and Purl

I only know continental so I’m glad you did a demo for others. I think it’s much faster.

I learned by doing it Continental. It saves time instead of using the ‘wasted’ motion of throwing, I believe.
I love using Continental. It is smoother and quicker.
I also use circular as, for some reason, insist on dropping that left straight needle, frequently. A big pain when on a plain or in a car. Circular needles don’t go flying under seats. Am going to enjoy watching this to see if I can pick up hints.

I cannot purl English style. Cannot. Learning to purl and knit left handed enabled me to knit, period. Thanks for posting this.

Well, I just found out that I don't do a normal continental purl. I've never seen this kind before. I apparently do a Norwegian purl, if anyone is trying to learn continental style I'd rather learn the Norwegian purl. It's a lot faster and doesn't make you hold the yarn in front.

Aw... I try this method. I need more practice. I just always go back to throwing... I will get it one day. 😀😛
