Thank you very much. You've shared the most helpful video I've found online so far, and the format in how you organized the information is perfect! My bf just gifted me a Vintage Alhambra 5 motifs in MOP. I was worried about the wear and tear on it, especially with it being a bracelet vs. a necklace. Appreciate the 2 charts that you shared. Now I gotta decide what to do - keep or switch! Just subscribed 🙂
Aww thank you so much for the kind words Jelliebe, really appreciate it and so glad you found the video helpful! :) Congratulations on your new 5 motif bracelet!!! I bet it's absolutely stunning! 🥰 Let me know what you decide to do and if I can help in anyway! ❤
Thank you for sharing all these great tips! I definitely agree on considering the right metal for your skin tone. When I started my jewelry collection, I bought every single piece in rose gold just because I loved the color so much. I later got a personal color analysis done and the consultant said that I look the best in white or yellow gold, and rose gold makes me look too red. I've been kind of thinking the same prior to the analysis as well but I couldn't exactly pinpoint it or understand why. I still love my rose gold pieces, but I'm planning on investing in mostly white/yellow gold pieces in the near future. Though, there are some REALLY beautiful pieces from VCA in rose gold that I'm still eyeing on, like the alternating carnelian/guilloche bracelet. We'll see if I end up getting that 😂
Hi @yjc219 - Happy Friday!!! ❤I love that you did a personal color analysis! It's such a game changer and can translate to so many useful areas like clothing and makeup choices! I think I fall into the light spring color palette - I'd love to hear what yours is :) And planning to invest in mostly white/yellow gold pieces based on your skin tone is such a smart move - you'll definitely look and feel your best! And I can TOTALLY relate. Since I know yellow gold doesn't look great ON me, I've started choosing other accessories like phone cases, jewelry boxes, water bottles, etc. in gold tones so I can still enjoy some pieces...they just can't be ON me 😆Maybe you could do something similar with Rose Gold 💕
@ErinaFromSeattle I hope you had a great Friday 😊 I turned out to be true autumn (AKA autumn strong) when I got back my results. What's interesting is that despite being warm tone, I see more red-tone in my skin rather than yellow-tone. Because of that, I think white gold looks nice on me. But because of the red-tone on my skin, wearing rose gold will amplify the "redness" and make me look "flushed" in a sense. And I agree with you on incorporating colors into other accessories like phone cases and bags! I've always thought bags with rose gold hardware look amazing.
@@yjc219 I did, hope you did too :) The true autumn color palette is lovely. It's so fascinating how subtle undertones like yours can make such a difference. White gold sounds like a beautiful match, and I bet your Chalcedony pendant looks stunning on you! 🥰
Thank you again so much for your kind words @HandbagFoodie - I really appreciate it :) And yes, I do try to avoid getting my Chalcedony necklace wet as much as possible. I pretty much take it off as soon as I get home and have never worn it to sleep or in the shower. Seattle rains A LOT, so I'm pretty sure it's gotten a little wet here and there, but I usually try to tuck it inside my shirt if I remember. Let me know if you have any other questions!
Hi please can I ask did you ever get your VCA vintage Alhambra necklace extended in length (if so was it by 1 or 2 inches if you don’t mind saying) and which setting you have it on/ wearing it on in this video please? Heard mixed opinions with the original length and will be purchasing the guilloche next month so unsure if I need to request for extending or not x
Hi Hannah! Thank you for your question. I haven’t had the opportunity to get the extension yet, but I do plan on getting it extended the next time I visit Vancouver or California. In this video, I have the necklace on the longest setting. However, lately I’ve been wearing it on the shortest setting, as I find the longest setting to sit awkwardly on top of shirts, especially bulkier tops, for me personally. Hope this helps, and let me know if you have any other questions! 🩷
@ Thank you for much for getting back to me on this I truly appreciate it so much. Yeah that was one of my worries with the original length and don’t want it to sit too high either if I can prevent it. I will definitely have to request getting the length extended once I purchase this piece next week. Once again thank you so much for getting back to me I truly appreciate it xx

Nice
Great detailed video! I also have the chalcedony pendant. It’s one of my favorite pieces!
Thank you @CapeCodBelle :) !! It's my favorite piece as well ❤

This was such a thoughtful video! Thank you for sharing! Really enjoyed the table you put together! Do you avoid getting your necklace wet?
