People keep trying to say Trump has violent rhetoric, but this proves he's rather chill.
Sure he exaggerates and does some name-calling, but you don't see him calling his political opponents fascists nor dictators.
That is very true.
I don't know if "violent rhetoric" is particularly accurate, but "irresponsible, dangerous rhetoric" certainly is. One speaking engagement where he's more chill proves nothing, and it certainly isn't a mitigating factor for the times he wasn't, or crossed a line. It's hard to take back things said that rile your supporters up against your political opponents afterall, especially as they tend to stay upset, and only find more reasons to become more upset, which results in nothing but negative outcomes for America as a whole. There's some really good examples of that, too.
Also, there's a good reason he's not calling his opponents "fascists", or "dictators" - he can't, as there's absolutely no justification for it, as they've said, and done, nothing to support as much. While I don't think those terms accurately reflect Trump, it's a slippery slope, and there is some loose justification behind utilizing them, based purely off of Trump's own words and actions, as there are parallels between them at points. He should be vastly more careful in his choice of words, and actions, if he wishes to avoid being labeled as such. Hopefully, he doesn't actually act on some of the things he irresponsibly said, as that would only prove his detractors correct in their assertions.
