This was extremely helpful. I was following another tutorial series pretty successfully. Hit the Sprite animation section and got bombarded with a crapton of classes and convoluted shit. You laid this out very simply. Specifically the source rectangle bit, was the thing I needed to wrap my head around. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos. I'll definitely be going through them.

I know it is a third of a year later, but for larger animations (Let's say maybe 30 frames), and multiple animations for one thing, would it be more appropriate to create a large sprite sheet with all frames or have arrays of all frames for the different animations to flip through?
