This video actually brings tears to my eyes, because it reminds me of my Grandpa, who I called Papa. He passed away when I was 6, and my fondest memory of him is his truck and how I would always ask to go for a ride in his truck and have him show me how he maintained it. I wish I could have had that truck and kept it from the junk yard. Thank you for this.
Man I remember my dad's 7.3 L and I remember just going for a ride in it when I was a little kid and falling asleep and now everytime I hear this sound it makes me a little sleepy
Nick Fincher My Dad recently bought a 2002 7.3 F350 from my Grandpa. I grew up with the sound of the 7.3. My Dad said I’d fall right asleep riding in a 7.3 that he owned when I was an infant. I feel you. I recognize the sound instantly.
@@RandallsRestRelaxation This video is something I didn't know I needed. But I would greatly appreciate Chevy engine exhaust rumble. I really enjoy the calming car sounds. But if you could make your next video a mild exhaust rumble I would greatly appreciate it.
My grandpa built a truck from scratch. Found the body at a junk yard probably 40+ years ago. It was a beautiful truck. Red with 2 gas tanks so he could travel as long as possible. That truck sounded better than any truck or car I've ever heard in my life. Unfortunately my grandpa died when I was about 7. He was working on a car and the jack failed and he was stuck for hours. He ended up in a wheelchair for the rest of his life 😭. He was a semi truck mechanic. Unfortunately we were forced to sell the truck when our savings ran out and we had literally no money left. About 5 years ago. I miss that truck so much and would give my car away just to get it back no matter what condition it's in.

After years of sleeping to that noise truckers get so use to it; it's hard to sleep off the road at home now. The other truck sounds you have are good, and were tried.
