  • In this third video, as part of our Altiplano Adventure series, we visit San Pedro de Atacama in Chile. San Pedro is a unique town located in the northern Atacama Desert. It has a lot of great potential for photography too.
We spent two nights and one full day here as part of our adventure photography trip. Funny enough though, this is part of the itinerary that will change going into next year's adventure. I will explain more about that in the next video.
Stay tuned for our final video in the series, "Things are Changing", coming up next Sunday.

That sunset location is incredible. You developed a great shot from the sunrise location too. You should be able to schedule workshops to here for a while!

Great series so far. I'm catching up, 3 in a row during an insomniac early morning. Lots of people at that last location, eh? Looks like a great trip, but I'd need to drag an oxygen bottle with me. Carry on. 👍🥂

I love the jagged formations at the last two spots. Great images. Reminds me of a similar "dragon spine" feature I saw while landing in Vegas last trip home. Safe travels!

Pisco Sour is the only alcoholic drink I've found hard to resist.

Interesting looking terrain and location Greg. Was it the weather that made the astro non viable ?

Yeah the moon mostly🌒 timing didn’t line up as well as we would have liked. We tried but it was a bust.

Great video! For the drone flight, did you need a permit? I'm considering going to Chile and specifically Atacama in a couple weeks and can't figure out if I need a license or permit or if I'll be alright without one.

Hey Jack, just don’t fly in any national parks. Pretty certain I didn’t fly in this video…

@@gregsnell Oh my bad, I thought that was a drone shot at 6:30. Did you have any issues with going through airport security within Chile with the drone, or any issues crossing between Bolivia?
