Good. We want to add a little more. Sometimes 'while' means 'but'. In that case, the rule explained in the video cannot be applied. For example, in this sentence - "She wanted to go to the cinema while her husband wanted to stay in." In this case 'while' is before the past tense not the past continuous. Moreover there is a common misconception that while is always used before continuous form of tense. Sometimes it does but not always.
