I started watching this about 10 years ago (and subsequently stopped watching due to life). In that time, I've had multiple career changes, I now run a business and have a family. I am really glad this still exists, exactly as it was then. It's nostalgic. Makes me feel like a kid again.
I could’ve told Jesse he had ADD when he kept sayin he would finish Skyrim like 10 years ago but didn’t. Jk though I actually have pretty bad ADD. And I love ya Jesse.
I'm with Crendor on this one, a lot of people cram right before exams and/or stay up all night to get an essay finished, those are more procrastination/panic than ADHD-specific things.
This podcast is the only reason I even have an opinion on moon phases and I gotta say it: I'm a Waning Gibbous man myself. That said, Waxing Crescent is also pretty exciting and I wish nothing but love and happiness to people regardless of their favourite moon phase :P
Weather Suggestion: Brno - Czech Republic: it is a city famous for its big black astronomical clock in its main square. Also, some people consider it the Florida of the Czech republic for its warm summers and bizarre new stories. The city also has its own "dragon" which in reality is just a stuffed crocodile. The city is sometimes dubbed as the only joke you can live in. Earlier this year it hosted a March of Silly Walks.
Weather suggestion: Castleton, Derbyshire (prn. Dar-bee-shir), England. Its a tiny village (only about 650 people live there) but its a big stop for tourists because it's in the Peak District National Park which is at the southern end of the Pennines (a chain of hills in Northern England). As such it's big with hikers and hill walkers. There are also a bunch of caves around there which were mined in the 1800s for "Blue John" a extremely rare form of Fluorite crystal only found in this area. Also fun fact, the beautiful Cave Dale found just behind Castleton was one of the filming locations for the Princess Bride.
They picked mine! Wow! And everything they said was accurate, however Fond du Lac is French for Foot of the Lake. And it's pronounced Fon-do-lak, but you need to say it fast like Fonalak. Or you can do like the locals and just say Fondy. Lake Winnebago is not a nice lake, it's referred to as Lake Winne-septic.
There is probably a better way to explain this but for my ADD people. if you go medium gear for a long time, you don’t have to switch to high gear ever. High gear is for emergencies but if you do something consistently for a long time you *probably don’t have to switch to that emergency power supply at the last moment. It’s those bursts of energy that can be so taxing on your body and make you feel insane. You can avoid it by just doing smaller things consistently over a long period of time. At least that’s how you can start :)
That happens to me every christmas... upon getting a whole bunch of new stuff, i sorta freak out and go into a manic cleaning reorganizing spree... WHILE all my fam and guests are STILL there opening things... its like a compulsion or trance and ... I am diagnosed with ADD... so that makes much more sense to me now lol
Weather request for Bogor, West Java, Indonesia. It's where I live and, ever since moving for college, I miss the breeze and big trees there. It was not where Obama schooled at, but hey, that city is just next door.
been following you for longer then a decade, you got no idea who i am but im fully parasocial, I feel like you guys are friends, fully aware its a one way street of course
Hey Crendor i would like to request a weather report for Blackpool England, home to the UKs tallest roller coaster, the UKs oldest still running tram way and the famous Blackpool tower
8:05 being in hyper work mode at all times is also not good though, people need to be easier on themselves and let themselves relax, especially these days when things like working your ass off for minimal pay is still being romanticized and seen as something virtuous by a not-insignificant group of people.
Jessie shits on the Midwest town that gets featured in the weather section? So surprising! No, wait. The opposite of that. Expected. Very very expected.
Oh snap! I live in Fond Du Lac and they pronounced it awfully! It is a French name. I am not sure I have anything I'd recommend about special the place but still surprising to hear it named!
That was mine! My hometown, now in Boise, ID. Went back 2 yrs ago, I forgot where everything was. My dad's still back there. I was laughing the whole time they were talking about it.
It is pasteurized(flash heated to kill bacteria), pasteurized milk can last for ages. The 2 most common methods of pasteurizing milk are HTST (high-temperature short-time, keeps for 3 weeks while refrigerated) and UHT (ultra-heat treatment, keeps for up to 3 months, doesn't require refrigeration), UHT is less common than HTST in North America. In the US the small single serving cartons of milk are usually UHT while larger containers are often HTST. The only thing normally added to milk is vitamin D, because vitamin D is essential to the bodies absorption of calcium. regards, Milk fan
Weather Request for Ybor, Florida - home of the Shoe Licker! He goes around asking people if he can lick their shoes, and he’ll actually do it. He licked my best friends shoe before!

Lol, where did you find that Fond du Lac means “where the current is blocked”? 😂 It’s French for “bottom of the lake”.
Jesse adding to the gallery of cryptids with the LA frog man
"I Relate to Frog Man" would be a good mug or something
54:20 Yeah, Seattle has a history of doing that.

Just get out of your own head and keep doing the routine. Stop giving up and just do it if you really want to change.

I wonder if Jesse will ever actually try to get diagnosed with ADHD or if he's just going to assume
Love how Crendor keeps describing ADHD and keep saying "but doesn't need to be it"!
