I was there last night. Third time I’ve seen them, but 1st time in almost 20 years. First few songs were a little off time and I thought, uh-oh, haha, should have known better, cause then....holy hell, they fukin blew the doors off that place. Unbelievable, I fell in love with one of my favorite bands all over again. Please upload more if you have it.
Same, but in seattle. I went with low expectations and couldn’t believe I ended up running into the pit for the first time in a decade. They had that place looking like a riot.
David is an archetype of charmant gentleman which alcohol changed to a lightly decadent dude. Contrast with the rest ellegant band members creates the original image of TJL. Their musical style is unmistakable. Love it!
Band does not start until Duane gives the nod. Dave with 5 or 6 beers in hand, lol. This was a great show. Thanks so much for posting. PS, why can't people just put down their phones and just EXPERIENCE?
Why can’t people put down their phones ? Why would you ask that ? We never had phones .. don’t Judge them .. it’s the new times . Back then we would have done the same thing.
@@SS-dr1hx he would ask that because it's fucking annoying and blocks people's view. At least go to the back of the room like the person who recorded this if you want to record. 🙄
Terrible lighting. You youths should search right here in youtube the 1994 show at the Liberty Lunch (RIP) and see what is was like in the shit. Best show I've ever seen live.
great band
great sound
great video quality
congrats to all involved
This is probably the best example of a band that aged like a fine wine.
Absolutely true and also wildly ironic!
Agree 100%. 2024-35 tour just announced today and a new album coming.
yes, but the bottle broke a few years ago
Absolutely one of my top 5 favourite bands ever!
David - drama teacher
Duane - science teacher
Mac - math teacher
David S - music teacher
I would personally want David S as a history teacher, but OK...
Duane is librarian, and I believe Sims is an accountant.
@@robcodey265 It was a joke based upon their musical personalities 😁
00:49 - puss
04:14 - one evening
07:20 - mouth breather
10:09 - glamorous

Sims with that bass is a crunchy treat
GOATed rhythmn section
Saw these guys in 94 at The Republik in Calgary. They were great. I think he's still got the same boots and jeans on from that show!
They were in their glory 90-92 . Nice to see them rockin it hard now .
Idk... saw them in 98', and they rocked just as hard as they did the first time I saw them in/circa 91'?!?!
@@Tricklarock I don’t think Mac was drumming in 98. Probably Jim , he made them a bit too precise and less slag. Good yes but Mac has the bands feel.

Such a great tour...early shows were as well.
Their bass sound always made me pitch a tent. EDIT: So much gRAPEMAN sound.
I mean, the rhythm section of this band was also in Rapeman, so there's that.
@@drpibisback7680 Bass player only. Rey Washam from Scratch Acid was the drummer for Rapeman.
I was there. it was unbeliveable.

I found myself! was just thinking about this show and how awesome it was.
Excellent show! What a treat! Thanks!
Great show! I was in the pit for the entire show! Im 43 but I was instantly transported back to being 17 seeing them at the masquerade.
One Eveningのベースの音かっこよすぎる。マジで日本きてくれ!
Great band
Robert Anthony Plant was on point as always.
Rocking the Japanese Memphis bass~ badass.
same damn one he's been rocking for like 40 years
As a grown man, from Atlanta...I hold my head in shame for missiN this.
I feel ya man. I missed them around 10' or 11' due to a total p.o.s. ex. Thought it was gonna be the last tour for sure - I was livid!!!
Greatest of all time
The show in Austin was so off the hook. This is a beautiful video.
Wow best videos of this tour so far, thanks!
Awesome, simply
Possibly the one band most possessed of genius both in the twentieth century and the twenty-first!
Great work! Thanks for uploading
Still kicking arse.

Yes!!!
*The.
The band is called ‘The Jesus Lizard’, not, ‘Jesus Lizard’.
Control and chaos all in one. Best live band ever?
Excellent video quality. What did you use to record it?
Thanks. Canon HF G30 with an external Rode Stereo VideoMic Pro on a Bogen tripod.
this looks better than it did in real life. thank you!
@@sleepfarmer3364 Vixia, right?
@8:09 LOL!
This HAS TO BE the tamest Lizard show ever?!?!
I was there!

Damn, Yow was such a good looking dude back in the day

I was getting ready to comment on that, because I was surprised at the very small amount of phones in the air!
3 dislike.... 3 Muse Fans...
the last song of the set was bliss.
