A bulwark is basically a defensive wall or bastion. Great comparison, the more I upgrade my wltoys, the more I realize I should have just gotten the LC racing lol. I turned mine into a speed runner, its a great size like you said to take with you everywhere. I did get a Phat bodies Kaboom body for mine, so it looks like the Bulwark now. The longer chassis would make the Bulwark a better speed runner though, now I have something to think about lol. Stay safe brother!

Don't worry, the driveshaft is the missing part. The rest is ez. It'll take a fat minute, but there will be upgraded steel Driveshafts for LWB

Nice video mate! Me and my son recently started the RC journey, and at first we didn't watch any YT videos and we went for the WLToys 12428, which quickly turned out to be an easy breaking machine, so then we bought a used 10th scale monster truck, which was brushed and didn't give so much fun as the 12428, my son was scared to drive the 10th scale cause it was too big for him. Than we found the 144001 which is awesome, so easy to drive for my son and so much fun for us both. To be honest the 14th scale is the exact niche for me and my son cause we can both drive this everywhere - in our small backyard, on a skate park and we've even been on a racing track for 10th scale cars and it was no shame whatsoever to drive the 144001 there. I would have gone for the LC Racing in the beginning but before the pandemic the distributor in my country changed and the new distributor didn't get his transport of cars yet due to the coronavirus. I rang them today and they think that 4 more weeks and they should have all the models, so I'm thinking that I'll sell the 144001 and get my son an LC buggy and an truggy for me so it would handle the track even better. As you said I really love the scale of these as they're a good compromise and a good allrounder between different locations. Cheers!

I hate to say this, after being a 4 vehicle WLtoys owner and modder for almost 4 years, BUT, I don't think WLtoys does anybody any favors copying and cheapening vehicles. Shortly after opening the box, the owner ends up getting out the credit card and buying parts. Hopefully, it isn't replacing stock parts for more stock parts because you're just prolonging the inevitable. It also doesn't help to have to wait forever and a day for Chinese parts to get to you. The LC Racing vehicles have what you need. If you want brushless eventually, do yourself a favor and start with it. The extra $100 for a better vehicle means you're going to be doing more driving and less wrenching and waiting for parts. Do something to get more air into the body for cooling and have at it!

I picked up the bulwark because of the factory body paint over the LC. What radio comes with the bulwark. Fantastic review. Subbed. Great clean videos man!

The Bulwark is similar to my LC-Racing 1/14 Truggy which is a great rc car, more stable than the Wltoys 144001 👍
Yes they are the same.
The machinist and tinkerer in me just likes the idea of the 144001 over this. I would be ripping the stock brushless system out of this anyway. It's not worth over double the price for someone like me. It's a nice car though and thanks for the review.

Been looking at the tacon line. I have the 144001, and love it, but have dumped a ludicrous amount of money in it.....stupidly. wish I would have went with Tacon from the get go. Thanks for reviewing them, not alot out there on them.
They have an awesome line and a decent support system with parts. I ran it last night again on 2s and it is awesome, but I want to try 3s. It should be nutty.
I keep going back and forward if I should get the wl, but I also want to buy something that will last. I better start saving my lunch money.

Very good, same car, its awesome.
I carry my model charger tools and transmitter inside a childs backpack. Overpowerd 1:14 is my favorite... the buggy form is way better than a truggy IMO.

Bulwark is a robot in war robots.... 6v6 online battles, dunno where the name comes from though originally
Tacon emb truggy is a beast. Lc racing, tacon and wl toys is a clone from shaumacher emb1. For on road tires, on road 1/10 rear buggy tires or traxxas 4tec rear extra wide 1.9's. 3s with castle sidewinder esc and stock motor 64mph.. Race ready out of the box

Nice car but is it worth almost 3 times a wl144001,speed it wont contest battery not better so you have to spend there so i think you could do a lot of upgrades with a 160 dollar's on a wl144001,but just my way of thinking.But do enjoy and stay save.
I do think you are better off going with this or an LC, by the time you upgrade the WLTOYS, you are already at this price or even more, and you still have a car with inferior parts and gearing. The gearing in these is much better.

Hi Chris, I'm learning about electric cars and am new to programming ESC's. Is a programming card needed to do this on the truggy or is one included?
Not needed at all, very simple to do. There are instructions on how to do it that come with the car. If you need help, I can possibly do a video for you.

Hello my friend I ended up buying one of these vehicles! Question as far as the batteries go. Ive noticed the 3s range from 25C discharge up to 50C . Do you have a recommendation on which is best/safest to run with? Thank you
For these lil cars I do not think it matters much, my batteries are on 35c discharge.
What type of battery are you using? Just got mine and only get about 20 mins of drive time. It also doesn’t seem too responsive to the remote, I’m completely new the electric cars.
I am using a flureon 1500mah 2s lipo battery. Are you still on the NIMH?
Yeah man...I mistakenly ordered a separate one thinking the car didn’t come with a battery so I got two which isn’t to bad. But you snipped the plugs so you can use your battery right?
