From what ove read roughly every 6months, but depends on use, and if you have the one with app it'll tell you

Hi, Amazon UK sells them for around £25. I assume other Amazon stores around the world will also stock them.
Can it be kept on all day?
Yes. There is 3 modes. Always on, automatic (comes on and off as need changing fan speed and sleep mode where the fan runs at a low speed
