I cannot express how gutted I will be after your vlogmas ends, Joe. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching everyday. Sounds a little creepy but I could honestly watch you for hours and hours on end. You are my comfort person to watch, so thank you for really committing to this vlogmas. It has been a blast.
Miss Dianne has worked so hard all of her life and she cannot make any mistakes ever in dancing. That's so much pressure and anxiety and she delivers the goods every time. What a professional.. When it comes to some other things in her life she just lets it go..like the gift wrapping. I could not live with those presents wrapped that way..no way..pretty sure you re-wrapped them when she was sleeping eh?😊 It makes it so very special for the person who receives the gift wrapped beautifully. It shows you care and you want them to have something lovely. No short cuts when it comes to gift wrapping ever. EVER! However she is tired out inside and out so maybe this was not the day to gift wrap. Very big here in Canada gift wrapping done nicely and in The Balkans they can drive you nuts with Perfection gift wrapping and then the receiver of the present sits there and stretches out the unwrapping...that can drive you nuts. They comment on the paper..the bows...the colors. Grrr! Loved you guys catching crabs. A really terrific video with many interesting scenes. Thank you so much for sharing. However
I thought my wrapping was bad, but Dianne took it to another level, it looks as if my 6 yr old nephew could have wrapped it 😂 but it fits Diannes personality. I hate wrapping and I do like to get it done asap, so don’t take very much care with mine I must admit x

I prefer neater wrapping, but also I've gone to putting almost all into decorative bags which is quite fast. You can also reuse the bags, and I need to mention I applaud Joe for having the same sweatshirt. No need to toss an item just because you have had it for awhile, better for the environment.

Dianne's wrapping skills for sure can be neater. As a compromise for both of you, I suggest the eco-friendly alternative of re-usable or recycled bags. In DIY and crafts stores you can find all sizes solid paper bags, that can be decorated with stickers, painting, garlands etc. To avoid sneak peeks 😉 put some crepe paper or aluminium foil on top. When I was a child my Javanese grandfather taught me to catch crabs in the Pacific, with big seives. One to scoop the crab out of the water, the other to use as a lid. Then put it in a basket/bucket. Love the snippets with the kids in the vlog. Compliments for your commitment and thanks to the Buswell family for their hospitality and generosity.

Yes we in Knysna Thesen Island for the holidays ❤ that area so hit the vibes 100%🎉🎉🎉🎉Met Australians last night at Tapas and they said there is no place like Knysna as they traveld the world, I was like DO YOU KNOW DIANNE BUSWELL 😂😂😂 and we did spot Joshua Pieters in the water whell out on boat in Knysna Lagoon.

It needs to be relatively neat in my opinion might be how I was raised but shoddy wrapping means you don't care as much about the person. If the ends are messy they can be folded once or twice before taping up. Sorry Dot, Joe wins that one

The thought process is that bad wrapping=minimal thought and minimal thought can and will lead to people being upset. I actually managed to upset a friend of mine by wrapping something fragile in bubble wrap and tissue paper instead of actual paper with a bow as an older child/young teenager purely because of how fragile the gift was. The friend said it was a "low quality crap job" and that it wasn't good enough for a 5 year long friendship and they stopped talking to me for 2 years over it. I certainly learned my lesson after that
I’m sorry your friend treated you like that, I would question the friend rather than yourself, you clearly put thought and consideration into the gift and wrapping. I struggle with wrapping, I seem to have 2 left hands and am not well co ordinated. Diane is hyperactive and struggles with concentration she’s so easily distracted she’s hilarious, so it feels unfair to criticise or correct her efforts.
Personnel I don't care about the wrapping it the thought that someone cares enough to go to the trouble of buying or regifting me, and what do I do I rip the paper of because I'm so excited and thankful & guess what I've just finished wrapping my grandchildren presents got fed up wrapped exactly like Diana,we are all different so do what you're personally happy with, it doesn't mean you Don't care I love all the people I give presents to❤❤😊
