As a person who learns English as a second language, and having played GTA VC ever since I was a kid, it is such a satisfaction to progressively understand what they were talking about as I grew older. I remember when i first booted up VC I was like 10 or so, couldnt understand anything so I was more into music stations like Emotion 98.3. and when I was like in middle school, I could understand a little bit about what Pastor Richard and others were talking about. I thought this station was kinda weird. and when I was like in college and finally can understand everything they are talking about. I can finally appreciate this masterpiece as a radio station. It is not an exaggeration to say that *_this game single handily taught me conversational English._* This station has taught me more English than I have ever learned in school. And now I am an English teacher. I encourage my students to play games in English (well, certainly not GTA franchise, of course - other kid-friendly games such as Minecraft. ). Because I know kids can actually benefit from them, language-learning wise.

Pressing Issues was probably the single best example of the genius of Lazlow's writing for the GTA series. None of the talk stations in any of the other games came close.

There's literally nothing wrong with that statement. American is to the English, as Portuguese is to Spanish. Perhaps you are just from the US and therefore aren't exposed to English in the same way that we are exposed to American, so you don't realise how different the languages can actually be.

The humor style of GTA from '02 to now transitioned from more partial towards the mentally mature, to flavorless, mundane, offensive vulgarity that even a small child could understand. The reason for this may be because of the limited amount of funding and time that could be implemented into the development of the miscellaneous factors (such as talk shows, and humor in general). The spending mostly goes towards the actual gameplay and direct elements of the gameplay, hence why the immersive, realistic qualities of the series continue to enhance while the initial humor and focus on the unrealistic (which ironically is what made the series great) continuously degrade.
- Maurice: "Costantinos have you got a positive mental attitude"? - Costantinos: "I like to think so" - Maurice: "Really?!" - Costantinos: "Misery and suffering...it's everywhere man, and I actively want a fatal disease! What bad can possibly happen to me?" - Maurice: "You could win the lottery?!" The guys who wrote these scripts are pure genius. So sad they don't make such fun dialogues like in VC and SA....
Used to listen to this station as a kid when I would play this game. I would be doing missions listening to this and instead of going to the finishing checkpoint of the mission I would just park the car or drive around listening to this. Didn't understand the political undertones but coming back as an adult this shit is hilarious. One of GTA's best radio stations honestly.

Used to listen to this station as a kid when I would play this game. I would be doing missions listening to this and instead of going to the finishing checkpoint of the mission I would just park the car or drive around listening to this. Didn't understand the political undertones but coming back as an adult this shit is hilarious. One of GTA's best radio stations honestly.

San Andreas' WCTR and Vice City's VCPR are the best. Gta 5's talk radio is a close second.
