    Probably the best introduction to AWS ever created. I've been using the cloud for 4 yrs and have never seen the entire suite presented & introduced so clearly.

    This is great. I have an AWS Assoc Architect certification and a few years of AWS work... and this was a fantastic learning experience I wish I had had years ago. Can't wait to give it to a friend that asked how to learn the cloud.

    thnx a lot man !! I am a mobile dev, learning to get into backend, was trying to explore AWS !! I guess most of the mention n this video u did covered in ur channel but I guess they r scattered, it will be extremely helpful for many newbies like me to explore ...if you make a playlist like specifically for DataEngineers, FrontEnd and BackEnd.
    End of the day, Ur channel is so helpful man !! Thanks a ton brother.

    Best AWS specialty roadmap I've seen. My only suggestions would be S3 belongs in Common and DE needs RDS and Lambda. IMO, your site is the go-to place for AWS. Thanks.

    While I am not new to AWS, this is a refreshing "categorization" of tracks and services pertaining to each. In terms of "common" tools, maybe SAM or the aws cli should be mentioned in the "common" column?

    • @BeABetterDev
      @BeABetterDev  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Hey rolucic, thanks for pointing this out. I'm not sure how I feel about SAM anymore with the introduction of CDK. It feels like theres significant overlap in the two but I figured CDK is more futureproof.
      Your point about the CLI is an excellent one. It was silly of me to not include that!
      Thanks again for your feedback and kind words.
      Daniel

    • @rolucic
      @rolucic 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BeABetterDev Hi,
      Yes, I am conflicted also about SAM vs SDK. What I can say is that I've opted for CDK (Python "flavor") but there are still a lot of samples out there using SAM.
      Seems to me AWS is conflicted about this also.
      One other point could be that if you don't know any of the languages that can be used by CDK (Java, JavaScript, Python...) and you are "OK" with YAML (or JSON) then SAM might be the way....

    i would argue that DevOps should really know MOST if not ALL of those services so the fact DevOps only has a few is not at all accurate. As a DevOps Engineer I am expected (and rightfully so) to know most of all those services or at the very least be similar to what Backend has so not sure why this guy makes DevOps look so easy in his chart
