FreeCAD: Adding a custom toolbar

  • Improve your workflow with a custom toolbar.
    Addendum, go to Edit-Preferences-Workbenches and check autoload for the workbenches you plan to add to the menu. Also click Load Now for those work benches.

    You explain the steps for the CAD toolbars very well. Even I’m able to follow your instructions, and that’s saying a lot!!!!

    Excellent!
    Tip on Work Benches and Creating Custom Toolbars. The Work Benches are normally not all loaded until used. This can be changed in the Edit >Preferences to autoload specific Work Benches. While in FreeCAD the various Work Benches are loaded when selected. Why do I mention this? Because, if the desired Work Bench (Curves. Surface, etc in the above example.) is not already loaded, this tutorial will not show the Work Bench in the drop down to select the respective Work Bench's tools. So, you'll stare in frustration at your application window. Because, you can't follow the OP's instructions.
