Dan I’ve seen Mrs. W. finish drywall on one of Jesse’s projects. Very nice work. Like you she is very professional. As a matter of fact it must run in the family! 😊
Your wife is a rock star,I would be proud to have her on any construction site, she knows the job and is a good hard worker :) Dan your doing alot of tiny extras but that is a sign of a craftsman. Your doing Andrew a massive favor fixing another lousy sub contrators work.
The two of you are doing a fantastic job. I can't believe how heavy that sheet rock is and how you're able to lift and hold it in place long enough to get screws in. Wow, hopefully Andrew knows how hard you two are working.❤😊
This video proves you are a human man and wife team working together. No curse words, or screaming and yelling, just testy little remarks during stressful spots. My heroes!!!! You always do wonderful work. ❤❤
I don’t think that first sentence needed the word human lmao. Also, she says “son of a bitch” when lifting the drywall early in the video. If you don’t swear when doing drywall, then you’re not doing drywall… just saying, your comment is hilarious.
sorry to see @ your age try and work that rock overhead, thxs for sharing...stay safe, even under the best conditions what a miserable job, she's tough
You're both working hard on this job,it's a credit to you. Having done similar work for the past 55 years I can relate to just how difficult this job is, but you guys are blasting through it.
That is the most half-assed spray foam job I have ever seen!! Sorry you had to go back over their work- but you made it right. Kudos to you both. If you ever want a vacation in East TN, give me a holler!
If I were Andrew, I'd paint that metal roof bright white to reflect the sun as much as possible to help keep the inside the house cool. I live in a mobile home that has a metal roof and sides and it sits out in the full sun all day. I put a white metal roof on over the existing galvanized metal roof that the trailer had originally, and it cut back on my electric bill by about 25% in the summer when having to cool the house. I guess the next best thing would be to put mirrors on the roof to reflect the sun and keep it cool. If there was a way I could make that work, I'd definitely try it because this little metal crackerbox gets hot in the summer.
Thank You Mr. & Mrs. W for working extra hard and fixing all the trouble spots.A Gold star performance. Thanks again sir. Keep those chickens happy.CHEERS
Thanks for sharing. Lots of important information. It is true... team work makes the dream work. Excellent video. Blessings... be safe, stay healthy, getting stronger and wiser becoming more successful. All to HIS credit...☝🙌💪❤
That looked like more fun than a married couple should be allowed to have. Seriously, your dedication to doing it right is both amazing and inspiring. 👍👍👍
Thank you Dan and Mrs W! I cant say it enough, Mrs W is such a darn powerhouse! Your whole family is made up of intelligent and very industrious folks, its awesome to see.
You got 2 outstanding “studs” doing this cement board installation doing an excellent job. Kudos to both of them…no half ass work being done on this job that’s for damn sure…👍💪💪👌
Thanks Mrs, W for the taping and mud work demo. In an earlier Jesse video he said you finish normal drywall without sanding it. I would like to see that done.
Mrs W is very talented. In this family, she gets lots of practice. Always seems like you are fixing what some other trade didn't do correctly, so you can close a wall.
The two of you are doing an incredible job on this!!! OMG, you both work so hard! Parts of this was a bit painful for me to watch as I worried about both of you. Neither of you miss one detail, and this work will last many lifetimes. Kudos to you both!!!!
Nice work. I have the same drywall lift. The crank wheel should be extended on its arm out from the vertical part of the lift. It is slightly easier to use that way. I forgot a couple times and was using it collapsed like you are. Every time you take it apart to transport or store it you fold it back in so it's easy to forget.
This is nothing for her.... she is an ultra-marathoner...now that is just next level suffering and fortitude. Oh and if I remember correctly she is also an engineer?
Strong as an ox and can pull a plow over 10 acres. However I really and truly appreciated and loved those beautiful legs, none finer anywhere... 👹🦮🐈🐤🦃🐦🦆🌷🌻🌺🥀🌹🍕🍟🧁🍰🍺🍿🥪
16:52 You guys are funny. 🎬 Take two! 19:38 Love to see it. Take care of your health. Way too many people breathe way too much dust without caring. 35:20 Stuff like this makes me feel even more green than I already know I am. Coming in with the hi-tech like that. Never seen a tool like it. How cool is that thing?! :D
Mrs W could put a lot of professionals to shame with her skills. Well done both of you, it sure doesn't look like an easy job and you have accomplished a lot.
Hard working Frau, I hope he's paying you guys good. You can see that they didn't bring the foam out to the edge of the studs, regardless it's a pain in the you know what to have to go back and fill it in. And it shows your integrity to go back and put that what I call "tarpaper" on the treated lumber.👍
Many problems with this project. I know Andrew was pretty stoked about the bare steel roof and painted steel inside. But many problems could have be solved by putting a 10" roof on top of the super structure just like they do with moden log cabins. 10" of rock wool insulation gives about a R60 rating and its fire proof. Then he could have kept the original interior. Cap the exterior roof with the same material on the garage.
Watching one of Jesse's 'shorts' the other day I wondered how you were getting on with Andrew's project. Great work you two, but I sure can see why you prefer working with wood. Hope the chickens don't miss you too much.
Attention to detail. You are the man, Dan! I wanted to reach out and help you guys with the sheetrock. When I was much younger we built a house for my parents and I can remember, with just one brother, lifting 12' pcs of sheetrock and holding them up while we screwed 'em up. It was also VERY hot.
Great Job Guys i don't think another contractor would make the corrections that to did. Btw i would trade my helper in a second for Ms W she is a keeper.
