The "never before was more owed to so few" line is actually inspired by Winston Churchill's speech about the battle of Britain.
"Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed, by so many, too so few."

So glad you are doing some of their earlier stuff. The last few lines were the speech of Winston Churchill regarding the pilots who fought in the battle of Britain.

This is why Sabaton is so popular. They make certain that we get to know the history.

Love your reactions! BTW the singer of Sabaton, Joakim Brodén, did a song and video with Nanowar of Steel called "Pasadena 1994". It is about a different kind of "battle", I think it is funny and maybe you would like it, too? Joakim seems to have enjoyed working with Nanowar. :D

I'm a Brit, so this song really strikes a chord with me
What the song didn't cover is how Chamberlain destroyed the same men from Czechoslovakia that would later defend Britain, and despite the 303 squadron taking down the most German planes, the Poles weren't allowed to take part in the celebrations to appease Stalin.
The battle of Britain was a shining victory, a stance of defiance against Hitler, and the event that made the yanks decide to pick a side. But it was also appalling how the men that risked their lives were thrown to the wayside after

I totally love that you really go deep on Sabaton im swedish so maybe im biased or what its called but hey i dont give my Ronnies out for hardly ANY band. as i see it on international scene id give my Ronnies first for Sabaton, Ghost and Amon Amarth. Sabaton are different from many bands because they not only do awesome music....they actually make history interesting for those youngsters that either fail at school or was never actually taught. Me myself are an history buff and prefer to dig up my own "facts" even when im given the facts :). Probably like you. 'Tell me what you know and ill dig up more' might be my motto then i decide! Cheers from Sweden

Learning history in school is very different to learning history as a passion. Sabaton singlehandedly reignited the passion I had lost in school
