OP took the advice and went to the school counselor, who knew that dad's buddy was a lawyer, but OP didn't? Then OP knew "the details" of how the funds were accessed despite only really knowing mom was the custodian of the account. Did mom monologue like every villain in fake stories so the audience knows their evil plot?
@@sugarbeefthey could live in a small town where everybody "knows" everybody else. Also, all the details weren't provided to us because that would have made the story MUCH longer and provided too many details to keep the post private.
Girl, you should NEVER feel guilty for what you’ve done. You made the best decision possible in taking charge of your OWN life and only at 16? You’re going to do amazing! Brava!
Amen, I second that! Don't go back to your mother. If you really want that relationship, let her crawl to you. Or get emancipated from her, which might be your best bet, for sanity and emotional reasons. Good luck sweetie ❤
The OP's mom and her mom's ex boyfriend's actions have been called out and they've been punished for it,at least the op can get the money back to further her education and that's a good thing, epic respect for Steve getting involved in this unfortunate situation and setting things right again.
Damn, your mother could just blow up your future for some low life abusive AH without a second thought.. You did the right thing; and thank goodness for Steve.. Don't ever feel guilty for the extreme measures you had no choice but to take, when your own mother was comfortable robbing you blind..
Congrats on getting ur money back and embarrassing them, but am I the only one that wonders what people that think this is normal think when they see story’s like this
My mum is the same with her relationships. She's been off and one with her drug dealer for the last 5 years. I started to realise when i was younger that she would just stop caring about me or my family the second she started dating someone and it was all the time because shes a cereal dating she cant be alone for longer than 5 minutes and she still cant figure out why i dont wont to be around her.
I am very glad that the OP fought for her rights, and I have little doubt that "Mark" has used women like her mom in the past. Only a man who has gotten used to living off of women and abusing/intimidating children would have even thought he would get away with it.
Lots of plot holes, like how did the school counselor of all people know that her passed dad had a friend who was a lawyer, and op not mentioning him previously while answering questions about the organization of the college fund. Also who would check and see “ah yes, criminals are planning a housewarming party, lets go over the weekend with police officers to make a satisfying drama scene” It is a good story but even I as someone who never looks for flaws in story writing can plainly see the plot holes
Bruh she should first get a lawyer and the sue them and how does you mother not care about you its so bad
Hope she gets the education of her dreams

Sue them if you want an education. It was not her money, she didn't even contribute to the fund. Stay no contact with your Mom.
My immature ass could NEVER behave if that happened at a house party. I’d be recording and posting that shi to my social media💀
Girl, me too💀💀💀
Fr, same 💀💀💀

Talk to the lawyer who handled your father's will!

Steve is the GOAT
Is it just me or did her voice change half way through the video 🥸
Why is the audio so buggy
Bc the channel put no effort and uses the bad ai voice
How do they put no efgorh
@chips2935 it's easy to make videos like these quickly
@@Huh.0 they have to find the Reddit posts add the backgrounds add all the text and do the text to speech
@chips2935 yeah but it's still much less effort than any other youtuber but they still get tons of views
0:59 for shorts users
Thank you
Thx
