wish some of the memphis jookers would have made this trip with nerd...lil daniel, dr. rico...g walka...them cats would have clowned this ghost so bad he would have gotten scared as if he had seen a ghost and got ghost with the quickness!
omg whoever was filming behind G Nerd should go back to film school why the hell would you film his upper body when clearly his foot work is what he's known for? STUPID!!!! they should of just shown Nerd from far away instead of trying to zoom in because they missed half of what he did. RANK AMATEURS
😂😂😂😂 they edited the vid and tried to block out half of G Nerd moves but the sloppy telegraghed foot work and wild body movment of Ghost still didn't make up for his lost.
So....ghost basically just glides and has a few moves at his dispensory...he's not as creative or as entertaining to watch as g-nerd I believe everyone is biased lmao
+Marcellous smith it was a glide battle ghost doesn't dance anymore and this was his return with no practice. if you wana see him really dance watch /watch?v=I3JewZdvAF0
@regular Very true! Editing is on point! I agree with @Alamain and you. Some of the close up angles on certain parts should have been full shot's or the extreme close-up's should have been medium.
Still mad about this battle. The crowd was extremely bias (which I understand, still wack though), the cameraman wouldn't show Nerd footwork majority of the time, and they were trying to punk nerd because he was pretty much there by himself or outnumbered. That shit ghost was doing would've had him leaving in an ambulance in Memphis with all that bs.
There’s a huge difference between confidence and arrogance. Ghost’s behavior was a terrible representation of his dance community. GNerd showed a great amount of restraint towards a man that was acting like a child, playing into a bias crowd. Far as the dancing Ghost had some very entertaining moves throughout the battle, but there was no flow to moves. Ghost selected songs that he knew the crowd would favor which for me took away from his ability to show his versatility. GNerd was far more technical at executing his moves and his moves flowed together. GNerd first song selection was to show his versatility in his ability to dance to any song, he did a lot of word play to the lyrics that seemed to go right over the crowds head. The battle was a draw. Ghost was more entertaining in round 1, but GNerd was more technical & cleaner in round 1&2. Round 3 horse manure.
First 2 rounds ghost, with no disrespect. I feel he came with more creativity, it's hard to judge by some of the camera angles yet even with that said Ghost came with a harder repertoire by introducing bone breaks into his glides. I personally like both styles, but intensity wise ghost had this. I don't come from the states, so I'm a outsider, I am a dancer though and I base it from that perspective. one love.Drew
put it to yall like this.. gnerd was going level 3 and ghost was going level 2 and ghost still won..now could you imagine the lengendary ghost in his prime which is level 4, also it would have been a masacre if he did more bruk up. Dont get it twisted gnerd's jookin is flawless but ghost is on another level with his gliding and overall body movement. Had they been in memphis ghost woulda went even harder....Old age is catching up with ghost i can see lmao.
They both did Great I was there it was two good dancers that had to battle its now added in the history books as one of the best bsttles S/O to Ghost and G~Nerd
Ghost did great the 1st round, and I liked the float stepping towards G nerd. G nerd was consistent in my opinion. Ghost came off as cocky, and interrupted G nerd when he was dancing... I think that's when I felt the battle was over in G nerd's favor. Have respect for your opponent. I've seen some NY cats that can dance for real, so no disrespect to bruk- up, etc. If the shoes was part of his act for round 1 and that's why he won that round... then he never had a chance!
everyone L.oud n9ne is june 25th and shout out to both memphis & Ny 4 showin love 4 info on the next event checkout the latest loud trailer video and thanks -Loudleague
I too concur. haha Though to me G-nerd has a cleaner style over all. If Ghost would've incorporated more bone breaking I think I'd lean towards him just cause gliding and bne breakin are a unique pair.
I love G nerd. The other could dance but what I hate about him is they play corny music that doesn't even matches with the dance he's doing. That's why I love them memphis jookers better because their dances correspondes well to the beats.
What was up with the camera angles in this battle?? we all know G-nerd has great footwork so the camera should've been showing his full body or just focused on his feet, not on his upper body. Can't even see who won since I couldn't even fully see all of G-Nerds punchlines because the camera is in the wrong place! example from 01:20 - 01:33 you can't even see his lower body or the move he did. Should have got the same camera angle Ghost had. Anyway thanks for uploading this.
Camera man shoulda focused on Gnerds footwork.. the shot didnt do him any justice while u got to see a full shot of ghost n all his moves... nice battle tho
I don't like the Camera angle on G-Nerds rounds, you couldn't even see what he was doing with his feet most of the time. But you were able to see Ghosts full body movement in his rounds. Suspicious????
Can't even call it. Would to love see it in person. It's not a tie, but a draw, none did anything to shut the next one down from the clip I just watch. But can say I like the the different ways both execute there styles.
i think they should battle again Ghost took the 1st round ut the 2nd round nerd went in but 3rd round it looked lik they wasnt into it i call it a draw cant really pick a winner but way to represent the south G-Nerd big ups bro
@tagw09matt I agree fully. The unsportsmanlike really takes away from the competitor. I mean the Mexican knew jookin fans were going to see this and he acts like that. And I thought this was going to be Bruk-Up vs. Jookin. People want to make a case for it being a gliding battle because apparently that's 85% of the guy's repertoire. I wanted to actually see the styles go at it. Gnerd maybe was going 50% in and it's wasn't a clear win. And of course the camera angles even with the HQ were bad.
GHOST?! WHATTTTT that first round was crazy..... the third round i feel like both dancers were just labbin and the second round i think if the camera angles were better Gnerd might have got but the first round... Ghost took by storm and even if GNerd won the second round by a little bit Ghost still took this one because of the way he blasted off and stole the crowd and how much energy he put into it... i don't know what to say about the third round..
@ The Same Time @ End Of L.O.U.D 14 , A GOD Wuz Resurrected , By the Name *~{ NOVA }~* & Again Im Looking 2 Compete .., I wanna Take 1 of Those Trophee' Home ..ASAP !!
Looked like G-nerd wasn't into it as much as when he battled boo-boo at battlefest. Can't really judge G-nerds dancing because of the bad camera angles but from what I saw from Ghost, he came out first round with a lot of energy and moves, but after that it seemed like he ran out of steam, rounds 2 and 3 were kind of repetitive. props to both dancers though but I wish I would've seen more..
no use to say check out g nerd on another video on youtube.. its all about the battle now.. U eigther bring it or u dont.. u win or u lose.. nevermind wot he did yesterday. Ghost brought it and won it and goin by the look on gnerds face he knew it too before the battle was even over
i think in this battle gnerd is not trying to bring the inner street buckin in with him.. which he should have because all he need is da crown and momentum and he woulda killed...
Ghost couldn't complete his flex move on the ground properly. The one where he tried to put his leg over his head. It was a failed attempt. The skill in his gliding was no doubt clean and clearly seen. However, G - nerd was in 100% complete control of all of his movements from glide to tut to musicality. His entire body was in focus with everything he did. He also successfully accomplished his hat trick as well as being clean throughout. I'm from Brooklyn, but jook 2. I must say... Nerd won.
@Anexisus No...anybody who has ever danced with Gnerd knows that he bumps whatever song playing. It don't matter what song it is, his freestyles are so on point with his musicality that you'd think it was a routine. Ghost was dancing to west indian music that makes a freestyler more obvious to his element. There's more to play with. I'm from BKNY. Grew up on that music, but I am a Memphis style dancer...I knew exactly what Nerd was doin. Trust it wasn't a routine. Much respect to both dancers.
i hope they never hired this same camera guy to record any battles. In this type of dance you have to have the camera far back enough to see the entire body so the viewer can see the EFFECT of the moves. Sucks cuz when g nerd was doing his thing the camera was like 2 feet from him so you couldnt tell what his moves really looked like from a distant perspective.
@Showboat03 That's what I said. Taking nothing away from Ghost though, I liked his performance, but anybody who has ever seen Nerd dance knows that the cameraman missed extremely vital/decisive points for the viewers. Agreed. Both were nice. But hmmmm.....
The camera angles were very one sided. With that said, even with the bad angles nerds moves made more sense. Ghost did everything in round 2 and it was hard to follow. But the angles though, smh. Shout outs to both.
wish some of the memphis jookers would have made this trip with nerd...lil daniel, dr. rico...g walka...them cats would have clowned this ghost so bad he would have gotten scared as if he had seen a ghost and got ghost with the quickness!

I was gonna say the same thing about the camera guys. They were horrible.
Totally agree.
Regardless of wat we seen I know it hurts I love G'Nerd too but he still lost😔
@@travimosley1979 him losing had nothing to do with my comment in could care less if he won or loss I wanted to see his footwork
Love how they gave GNerd all close up angles so you cant see his full body but they have multiple angles of Ghost
Right!!!!! Like half of nerds footwork wasnt even seen
I was gonna say the same thing they wouldn't show his moves
Ghost fell at 3:59 they switch camera angles to cover it up smh
Poor sportsmanship on behave of "The Ghost".
They’re friends
😂😂😂😂 they edited the vid and tried to block out half of G Nerd moves but the sloppy telegraghed foot work and wild body movment of Ghost still didn't make up for his lost.
this is my 1st battle in three years thanks 4 the love
So....ghost basically just glides and has a few moves at his dispensory...he's not as creative or as entertaining to watch as g-nerd I believe everyone is biased lmao

Ghost VS Spyda in Memphis, Ghost would take that L!!!
@@srdemarkes spyda would of ate him alive
what was that song ghost dance to first round
oh, so these beat ya feet battles were held in memphis, i been out the loop since i moved to miami
Crazy battle but I want to see Ghost vs LIL Buck. That battle would be bananas!!!
@regular Very true! Editing is on point! I agree with @Alamain and you. Some of the close up angles on certain parts should have been full shot's or the extreme close-up's should have been medium.
What's the Rihanna Skin song remix ?! plzz is so good !
Wats tht Mr easy song play on 2nd round when ghost went?
whats the name of the reggae song that ghost dances to in round 2 at 7:50 ??
Still mad about this battle. wow...this is a hard one to choose...i been waitin for this battle...but i liked the way they mimiced moves from eachother
I'd love to see LIL Buck at the next loud event. That's whats up!

Crappy camerawork. Should show the whole body throughout

ok im a big fan of gnerd i really am one of the best i seen, but no offense in my opinion ghost destroyed him easy, very good to both.
agreed it sucks way more then half g nerd Footwork was gone cause the camera perspective from every angle.
Camera Angles for G Nerd suspect. I'm just saying.
@Showboat03 That's what I said. Taking nothing away from Ghost though, I liked his performance, but anybody who has ever seen Nerd dance knows that the cameraman missed extremely vital/decisive points for the viewers. Agreed. Both were nice. But hmmmm.....
