- On this Teachers' Day, we honor individuals like Kakoli Hari, whose commitment to education transcends her circumstances. After completing her higher secondary education, Kakoli married into a family facing financial hardship. Refusing to let her education go to waste, she began tutoring two children. Today, she teaches 10 to 15 students from grades 1 to 4 in her village of Satjelia, Sundarbans.
In a region where, according to a 2022 IJCRT study, most stop their studies by Standard 8, Kakoli’s perseverance is a beacon of hope, proving that education can reshape futures.
