My CBR is a 2013 and it’s my first motorcycle. Super tame in the low rpm range, but has more than enough power at 7K+. No flashing LCD, no fancy riding modes. I’ve loved learning to ride on it and it’s my go to recommendation to new riders that don’t need training wheels.
Gonna potentially get a CBR as my next bike (second bike) this year. Going between this and a ZX-6R as the tech is better on the Kawi but I’ve always wanted a CBR so I may just go old school
There is something wrong, why do you guys still have that old CBR600RR, that's the same one that's been out since 2013. There has been a new CBR600RR since 2020.
Honda pushes the old stock bikes to the U.S. market and labels them as “new”. The European version is now similar to the Japanese with all the updates and upgrades. Honda gives the U.S. the shaft
I have the 2004.it is my first bike after passing my test in UK. It is excellent. I had a 2016 grom before that. Neither had ABS. Basic bikes are good. Take it very easy in dodgy conditions. Honda seem to get the basic controls perfect. If you use your bike for commuting and all year then ABS and traction control seem like an excellent idea.
I ride a 2015 CBR600RR and lack of tech is why I can't bring myself to buy anything new (and the slick undertail exhaust). These, and the GSXR 600 / 750 are the last of an era of raw sportbikes imho.
The new CBR650RR with the e clutch is going to be my second bike in one maybe two years. I have a 2023 ninja 400 krt. After I watch one of your videos. I like to go out on my bike and practice so I can be a better rider. Keep doing everything your doing bro
Learned to ride on a 2017 Honda Rebel 500. No ABS, no riding modes, I don't even have an RPM gauge or gear indicator. Just speed, gas gauge, and trip meter. I'm glad that's how I learned, but now I'm looking for something with a bit more technology. Been looking at the CBR's, thanks for the review!
CBR 600 RR's looks peaked in 2007-2012 and then went downhill from there. Whoever took over the design from 2013 onwards is probably an industrial glue sommelier
Basic, because in America you guys still have the 2013 model. In Europe we have a new euro 5 plus model (ABS, TC, QS plus facelift.) Please don't compare a 2013 CBR to a 2024 ZX. Nice review though.
Had to change brake disc recently and of course the braking performance isn't there in the beginning until the pads and disc are run in properly. First couple miles you have to go up and down a side road or something. That's just how it is.
The technology also makes the bikes more expensive. Wish it was all optional extras. I dont want ABS, IMU, 9 levels of traction control, blipper, etc... on a 600cc bike!
The exhaust you’re referring to is Toce. Don’t forget, new bike has new tires. The engine needs a brake in period also. Don’t use the kill switch on the cbr600rr. It is famous for going bad.

He reviews a bike for buddy at bike shop & gets paid to give it good wraps ! Then people see the reviews & go buy the bike , everyone is a winner at bike shop and ol mate test riding them ! Its advertising for his buddy & that particular bike shop , Moto Jitsu give him a plug every single time & the shop. Read Between the lines matey.
Not worth the money. I bought a 2024 Aprilia's rs 660 with EVERY bell and whistle including cruise control for cheaper that this. There has to be something wrong with you to want to buy this. Just my opinion.

If they update the bike substantially, it has to go through emissions again and it wouldn't pass Federal regulations

Honda needs to send you a sales award, Bravo. Some douche might complain about the 600's not being updated, but they were all ahead of thier times.
