Bass Fishing from the Bank with a YUM Christie Critter!

  • Today I am out fishing for bass from the bank with a Yum Christie Critter. This soft plastic creature bait is similar to a brush hog and looks like a mix between a lizard and a crawfish. After flipping and pitching to all of the cover I can see, I finally catch a nice bass between the dock and the boat launch. Hopefully you can also catch some bass while fishing the YUM Christie Critter from the bank.

I love what your doing and you really show the actual hardships of fishing because when someone with no knowledge of fishing will see a video with a guy catching a ton of fish and really undermine the sport as a whole.

Gorgeous bass, I am super jealous. I went out today and just took an ass whipping the whole time. Snags, predatory birds and some douche who left his line everywhere on the bank. That is realistic. Lol

Miguel Gama that's awesome! I ended up catching 3 bass last Sunday. The first one was the biggest. He was about 16 inches long and I estimate around 1.5 pounds. I'm not positive because I didn't have a scale with me. 1.5 is a good PB to start! Happy fishing my friend!

My Girlfriend and I love watching Your videos because they are for the average fisherman that doesn't have alot of money to spend on equipment.
I have been teaching My Girlfriend how to fish this season and She has been doing pretty good.
We bought her a combo from Walmart because it fit our budget and She loves it.
I'm going to start teaching her to use lures so Hopefully She can catch some decent sized Bass.

I also fish near the boat launch areas on weekdays when they have limited use. Sometimes I vacuum seal soft baits with a mix of bacon & garlic. When they are "ripe" I Texas rig them with good results.
