I like the idea of the deck, where most standard gallants can’t really otk per say this one can due to GX but from what I’ve seen you’ve replaced the takatos for more X digi search (cool boy and kotas) how do you think the match up goes against a standard gallant list?? Massive fan of the list tho (gallant and jesmon are easily my favorite digis)
I haven't tested against the mirror yet so I don't have a clear take on it. But the advantage regular Gallant would have, would be being able to blitz so bypassing Gallant X immunity and actually shrink it, but the OTK version does have more setup cards. So being able to just hide a stack in raising and playing out coolboys and trainings helps a lot.
I personally prefer protoform because growl x and wargrowl x are expensive if you miss their respective non x form. Regular x antibody would work but you prob have to swap out the bt17 wargrowl for bt12 so you can get some memory back. In general tho, I'd say protoform is better but this version can work without yeah
@@AwesomeRhombus No problem and thanks! Protoform is for sure a really good staple card to have, sadly it's still pretty pricey, but if you can get them for a good deal, it's worth the investment.
Gallant wins this one 99% of the time. Rock deck needs another wave of support with more impactful inherits, need some active while in there and do stuff when trashed. Also Pyramidimon should of had collision naturally, stead of from options or sources.

How necessary are Proto Forms for this version of the Gallant List? Can the normal X Antibody's function similarly?
