Alături de Căpitan, Moţa şi Marin, în fruntea cohortei de martiri, veghează din ceruri marșul legiunilor biruitoare pe drumul de Înviere al Neamului. Și în ziua acesta de adânca reculegere cei ce au ramas s-au ridicat în suflet și în gând spre cei care au căzut, uciși de gloanțele dușmane. La Casa Verde, lângă groapa în care se odihnesc Căpitanul şi martirii eroi, alături de frontul de eternitate al Nicadorilor şi Decemvirilor, s-a oficiat un parastas în prezența familiilor, a comandantului mișcării, a delegaților armatei române, reprezentantilor Spaniei, Germaniei şi Italiei. -- January 13, 1937, on the bloody plains of Spain, Ion Moţa and Vasile Marin fell heroes and sacrificed their lives to lay the foundations of a new Romanian destiny.
