Thanks mister OTE really interesting as always !! we wan't to see more of this !! also more backtesting to see different situation and your thoughts process please 🙏
excellent video, thanks for putting this together. I see that there are monthly subscriptions to this channel we can join. Can you explain the difference between the three plans? Basically what you can expect to receive for each plan or direct me to something that explains it? Thanks in advance.
8:00 lol all the Breakaway Gaps shown in this example got traded through. The second BPR got wicked through into the FVG below, taking out anyone with their stop below the candle, which happens all the time. I have yet to see anyone other than lCT himself reliably predict when a FVG is going to stay open. (Please correct me if i'm wrong, I have been trying to figure this out for like a year!) Waiting for a STH/STL to get swept first before entering doesnt really count because that's a lagging indicator. Also, lCT has said multiple times that Breakaway Gaps are FVGs that tend to stay at least _partially open_ - he didn't say they must stay completely unfilled.. 🤨 I don't know why TH-camrs keep changing the rules of what the creator himself stated.
Thanks for your reply, as you can read in the description, this is how I personally approach them. So it might differ from ICT himself, ofcourse all credit goes to him. I found this works best for me.
@@theOTEtraderOkay, its your right for you to "personally approach" them however you like, but you're muddying the water by asserting that Breakaway Gaps are FVGs that don't get traded to, which contradicts what lCT says. For example, lCT teaches that we should use the first quadrant and the CE for entries as they're the most sensitive, and that we do not want to see the FVG close in completely, making it a Breakaway Gap, which signals strength in the move. I'm sure you mean well, but changing the definition for something with fixed parameters is not very helpful to anyone trying to learn such a complex methodology.
@TheMrFive I assume it's for him to measure the value of what is being taught. I say focus on what's being taught apply and see if it works for you...don't study who is making money and who isn't.
@@giannidickerson5910 thanks. It is a bit like going up to a world class football coach and asking how many goals he scored in the team's last game. And if zero then what does he know about football... I know it isn't exactly the same, but the principle holds. Do people want to learn from someone who understands trading, and can explain it well - a very rare skill - or from someone who could place profitable trades? I know the difference because I've been fortunate enough to have been both.
