Cherries Mild is pretty much the '20's equivalent of the original Strike It Rich, which you properly and righteously eviscerated in GSG. Imagine trying out for a game show, coming down to the studio with dreams of winning a quarter of a million, and being pretty much told there is absolutely no way we will let you walk out of here with a quarter of a million dollars. You're not getting the quarter of a million dollars was predetermined before you set your foot on stage. This is not just bad, it's Dan Enright 1957 level of bad.
BTW, speaking of Jason Biggs, he may have redeemed himself with Cash at Your Door-- it's a program on E! that he's been doing since late last August. Months after the Cherries Wild disaster came to an end. EDIT: Forgot to mention that CAYD plays kinda like Cash Cab.
@@drewzuhosky6826 You just reminded me of a show that was supposed to be on Fox but it was axed and they brought over Million Dollar Money Drop instead.
Mine is People Puzzler one of GSN's most acclaimed game shows, second is Master Minds, it's a great show, Brooke Burns still looks great, honorable mention Chain Reaction (2021 version), that was long gone after one year.
Speaking of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, I think it's time for it to get a US version for Comedy Central... or maybe just show the original UK version on BBC America.
So Cherry’s Wild was basically fixed is what you’re saying. Didn’t we have a suprime court case about this in the 50s that said you can’t do exactly that? How the hell was this legal?
Hell's Kitchen should go back to it's earliest format or make it a hybrid of HK and Masterchef. Have ordinary people, with some cooking ability, compete with the winner getting either their own restaurant or the usual HK grand prize. I admit I loved the earlier seasons. (I stopped after all-stars)... but regardless, and I don't care what has to be done... BRING BACK JEAN-PHILIPPE!
Oh yeah... "Cherries Wild". A show so bad that I had already forgotten it by March 2021. It wasn't offensive like "The Moment of Truth" or "The Chamber". It wasn't stupid like "Candy Crush" or Kevin Hart's "TKO". It wasn't boring like "Million Dollar Word Game" or "Shopper's Casino". But it sure as shit was scummy. The producers may have tried to cover their asses with that disclaimer about their actions being legal in accordance with some independent compliance agency, but let's not lie to ourselves: "Cherries Wild" was rigged and deserves its place in the Game Show Hall of Shame.
I liked the Pepsi Play For A Million back in '03 but this new one from them is an outright failure and a real game show disgrace. Thankfully it's gone!
"...even the Snoop Dogg revival was fantastic." I thought the Snoop Dogg version was an absolute, self-indulgent abomination that urinated on everything any good game show stood for. If it was superior, I cannot imagine how bad your pick for the worst of the year could possible be!

And I met said $1M CWoF winner last December!
If the outcome of _Cherries Wild_ was previously determined, how the hell was it even cleared to air?
That actually is a very good question.
@@newstarcadefan If it was, indeed, a predetermined outcome, there is no way that show should have been legally permitted to air.

@@newstarcadefan _Our Little Genius_ was the show you're thinking of. Seidelman even namedrops it.
I love the new series! and yes, this definately needs to be a regular series to talk about a certain year/subject. Great job Cyndi!

So, was Cherries Wild basically Joker’s Wild without trivia questions?
Don’t get me started with “JOKER! JOKER! JOKER!”

Maybe some BW&B for previous years?
I think Cherrie's Wild may have actually got sacked by the FCC. No proof either way, unfortunately.
Couldve done more Worst hell's kitchen mommnets
Copyright issues with Hell's Kitchen prevent me from doing said videos. I had Season 4's planned out before that.

Comment down below and tell me is beat Shazam good or bad
The best format that I think Name That Tune should've copied somewhat. BS (Beat Shazam) is way better then NTT, hands down.
Do you have any episodes of "Russian Roulette"?
