I have never been to Cornwall. It is lovely to see such a clear video which shows both the coast and the streets of several Cornish towns. This video is both relaxing and educational. Well done!
Thank you Andrew and Sarah for the lovely video, brought back so many happy memories of holidays at St Ives with mum and dad who are sadly gone now. Thank you. x
As a Cornish maid, living and working in Yorkshire, a huge thank you. This has lifted my spirits. Can't wait to be in my beloved Cornwall after lockdown.
@@CornishWalkingTrails I am counting the days. My family have been fisherman in Port Isaac for centuries. Some of them are the Fisherman's Friends. I love Yorkshire but can't wait to be home again even for a short break.
How wonderful! Watched this and your Port Isaac stay. Lovely memories for me! I think I would love to stay in Port Isaac for a few days and be able to walk it early in the morning. My first stay in St. Ives was over 20 years ago - my first trip on my own to England. The town was so much more simple and quiet than when I was there two years ago! Had a lovely lunch outside last time at the same restaurant you had your lunch in. Thinking my next trip may just be some of the places on your walks in Cornwall tours. (From northwest USA)
Fabulous! I hope your trip is sooner rather than later!! St Ives has changed over the last few years, but there are loads of lovely walks, fishing harbours and beaches in Cornwall to explore, Sarah :)
I hope you enjoyed the 'view-cation'! We have a virtual walk around St Ives in the beautiful sunshine, paddling in the sea - hopefully you will feel like you are there, publishing it tomorrow evening. Sarah :)
Really a great video. Usually I love your comments, informations and Andrew's jokes. But here I enjoy the silence, the sound of sea water and the music. Thank you - stay safe. 💟💟💟
My girlfriend and I stayed in St Ives for the first time last July, so many beautiful memories of this enchanting place. Porthmeor was our favourite beach. We cant wait to return.
Wonderfully atmospheric!...my favourite part of the day when the streets have space to 'breathe' before the trample of feet, and the pretty little inquisitive Turnstones hopping about. I dont think I could ever get fed up with the moods and the sounds of the ocean, with the waves constantly rolling in...so reassuring. Thank you!
@@CornishWalkingTrails Cornwall is so special Sarah...I can't wait until lock-down eases so I can get back down to touch base with the magical land that I've come to love 💖
We've stayed in or close to this picturesque town many times. So, I can honestly say I recognise every pathway and lane, every building, and every stretch of beach. It's a super location, enhanced by the South West Coastal Path, which offers walkers breathtaking views across the countryside, cliffs and sea. This is a great video from you both - thanks for sharing it with us all.
I was born there and the best time to walk around St Ives early in the morning is on Christmas day! It was a magical childhood but sadly to hard to live there and find work. Good to be able to visit my mum who's still there though 💚
Thank you for sharing your adventure with us,I paddled in every wave walked every beach and every step throughout the streets you walked . Fabulous place we have many fond memories of St Ives to which I personally had the pleasure of reliving every last one, whilst watching this video. Loved every second x x
Thanks for posting. It was nice to watch it during breakfast. Good editing, loved the sound of the surf on the beach! St. Ives looks lovely even on a dreary day.

Thank you so much for this. We're not far down the road but have been missing st Ives since lockdown. In the summer, this is the time of day we like to go. We park at St Erth and get an early train (prettiest journey ever!), then sit on the harbour with a takeaway coffee and watch the town wake up. Then we go for breakfast, usually at Scoff Troff and then a wander. We're usually back on the train by the time the hoards arrive towards lunch time. I can't wait until we can go again.
Well, that was a little different. The sea and sky looked rather moody, and the atmospheric music at start was very appropriate. Another enjoyable video thank you Sarah & Andrew
