years later and just need to say that I resonate with your tutorials more than anyone else on youtube. i come out the other side with insanely dope sounds and a much better understanding of sound design and arrangement EVERY FUCKIN TIME. these bunting tutorials are, in fact, total dingers. *buh dum tss*
It's 6am in Italy, I had no idea there was a 6 that is not pm, but my phone beeped and said "new Bunting video" so... Guess it's time to make some coffee!
I also write my drops first. I find many people I talk to don't do it that way. To me it saves me time because if I get a good drop going then I know it's worth my time to write the rest of the song out. I find it's easier to end up with a cohesive sounding track as well.
@@jessek3352 sup dude! I'm in the process of writing new music and rebranding so I'm not taking shows for a while. Maybe later this year / early next .
Great work as always man. Vid request: A tut on how you start a tune from scratch and your process for getting started and how you get yourself into a flow state and how not to get caught up with tedious, time consuming edits before even having a boppable beat underway. I know lots of ppl struggle with it, and might help a few folks out.. Also, another vote for Kalya Scintilla. A sound design and arrangement tut specifically in the style of his older stuff, would be tight.
Full respect for these inspiring, straight to the point, informative videos. There must be countless people you’ve saved from giving up on making music. Bandcamp is sick too, big ups
I built a dubstep template a bunch of years ago when i was experimenting with bass music and continue to use a modified version of it for my Dub and dub techno. Instead of a build to a drop i build to a more ambient break. I always had trouble getting my bass music tracks sounding right ( Now im better at it and I sometimes use bass music sounds in my build for my dub tracks). I take from a lot of different genres that i like(trap hats and echoey snares and deep subs) and use the elements instead of sticking with a formula. Inspiring tutorial. Love the on the fly sound design. Sound design is always my weakest and i end up using modified presets and samples these days. I found your channel because i started doing some vital sound design last week and you appeared in my feed.
my g this is probably one of ur most useful tutorials ive stumbled across, def needed some song structure pointers && starting w a drop ensures you know what you're building into, very intuitive !!
I just made a neuro dubstep banger using some of your free samples and following your layout and approach. Made all the basses in Vital. A lot of the fun in producing is the sound design.
really appreciate how you get to the point in your videos. your pacing is pretty on point. I've watched so many other vids that take too long to convey too little. you keep it in the sweet spot I've watched a bunch of your other vids, but this one was especially helpful for me. good content. thanks & keep it up!
hey Bunting yous content is gold! many of your videos is exactly what i needed to learn to improve and to get where i want with my music! thank you brother!
This is thew first video ive watched on how to make music. You honestly answered a lot of simple questions I had just listening to music and going to shows.
The tutorial we needed fo sho! Great content as always, leaving us with more production knowledge every time. Was wondering if you'd consider making a lil tutorial on side chaining Bass Music? It's one of the most important things I still struggle with in producing and all the side chain tutorials on TH-cam are mostly House, R&B, Pop, and Hip Hop.
Freaking awesome man. I'm impressed by your ability to come up with stuff on the spot. Love the comments about music theory. Would be interested to see what your mixing and mastering processes looks like
One word Unrated Maybe i'am watching to long about song structure from Manny Edm Producer and artist and other genre but I can easily say, Bunting your's Song arrangement tutorial Is the best Ngl.. You're absolutly Unrated legend ( I am just feeling Fooled with subsribers Amount but why this quality content not on music tutorial trending, whyyyy!!!!) At least am not wasting my time now from now and then ,i'll wait for Every quality videos to come out, God bless, Peace out.👏👏💯🎉🙂☕️
I am doing a challenge where I make a porject everyday in ableton to learn the software for 100 days. Your channel and more specifically this video is full of gems ill revisit many times in the future. Thanks man
Would be willing to go over how to attack a bootleg I know you’d prolly get a strike from using a big name but you can just do one off some free vocals or something like a homies SoundCloud that you know well?
