Great review of this unique fragrance! I get almost a mentholated green rosemary, woody smell with the orange just creeping in the background into the dry down. Then a nice clean ambery base. This is freshness done in a different way and I like it a lot once the rosemary fades a bit.
A deep blue-green gem! A forest after the rain with the rays of the sun breaking out from the clouds, drying the aromatic plants and evergreen branches. Great review Joy, I agree with your thoughts on this one, even if I wasn't sure upon first sniff, it's a modern classic imo.
Joy, I just got mine in today and I'm loving it so far. My GF went crazy over this one. Great looking bottle and fragrance! I'm sure I'm going to be picking up another bottle asap hearing that it's now been discontinued. Thank you, Joy for your reviews. Jaques Cavalier is a master this is by far the stand out of the entire house its sooo potent, aromatic, green and unique and I have a couple bottles stashed away, dont be fooled by the bottle because there is nothing blue about this.

I've used this perfume for 12 years. I love it because it's masculine and unique.. Very unique. Since i bought it i've started to look for unique perfumes. And yes, it's not for everyone. Good review!

I just blind ordered this, people say it's a fall/spring and maybe a colder summer evening smell, I had the regular Issey Miyake and i as well as others loved it. I'm hoping I can still wear it in the summer.
Hey Joy, i too have this issey miyake bleue, even though the first time i sprayed it i wasnt really that into it, it later grew on me. I use just one spray, these wierd monsters i call them, they smell the best when you get just a wiff of them, thats when they do their majic. They are so good at doing what they do, you gotta use them like a spell of majic and sparingly. Its the bluest fragrance ive smelled, blue on top of blue lol

I have this perfume and I'm satisfied with it. There's pine in the smelling also.
This perfume isn't very good in cold weather especially here in Northern Sweden.

I discovered this one in 2004 when it was released. It was my signature scent for a long time. I was all of 23 years old at the time. I still have a bottle in my collection.

This fragrance is amazing one of the best for spring /summer
I appreciate that this is a unique fragrance, but tbh not an easy reach for me. HOWEVER, I layered this with D&G Intenso (another fragrance which I'm not crazy about) and it became absolutely beautiful! I went with 2 sprays of L'eau Bleue and 4-5 sprays of Intenso. For me, the bad thing about Intenso is that it's way too powdery to my nose and the metallic+herbal quality from L'Eau Bleue creates a gorgeous balance! Please give this a try if you have both

Leau bleau is beautiful, but some days I don't like it so much. Its hard to get used to. I adore nature inspired fragrances, I need something with more pine, and the smell of rain, forests.. Anyone help?

I had both of those you showed for a while. I just gave the clear bottle to a subscriber who wanted it and I still have the blue bottle just don't wear it anymore. It's a powerhouse Fragrance and at times way to powdery for me. Could have been the amount of sprays I did cuz I am heavy handed. Both were $20 a piece from a discounters store.

Reformulated. I bought this, used it twice and threw it in the garbage. No projection at all. I should have mailed it to the ifra so they can use their own creations
I agree with Marc that this is like a Burberry London "Lite", because the mix of notes give it a tobacco scent, but with a hint of citrus to brighten it up and make it fresh.. I love London, so during the warmer days, this is perfect in my opinion!!

Very unique smell. Very manly. Very musky. Dark. I would wear this on summer evenings.
Love it, it is fresh and at the same time sweet. Also a bit similar to Lanvin L'Homme Sport.

I have tried both on paper, they have more or less a performance, but I don't know how it is on the skin.

@@predoirobert3212 it's really difficult to say, for now I have Issey miyake and I'm wanting to get carven too. One thing I must say. When I tried carven at first I thought it was very simple and only citrussy but then I discovered that it was very refined

I get load of pink paper in the opening ,, extremely spicy scent to my nose. It's good though
Become too weak in 2021. It was reformulated and watered down. A shame.Almost zero projection in the new batches.
