What I love about this band is, you never know what you're going to get when you listen to a song. But no matter what you can always be sure it will be amazing. I love their many styles and how creative they get with everything. And I love Emily's voice a lot. Such an amazing band.
give it another 20 and talk to me about how you feel about it. im still going and it still slaps even harder than back in 2003. i literally fixed my car audio system so i can give this song the respect it deserves back in 2014.
so much depends upon ominous dark alley electronic intro the deep, penetrating bass line bewitching repetition let me lay my eyes syncopated heraldic trumpets entering suddenly
draw the line..... draw the line..... 20 years have gone by ... the mark has been made. but every so often, my mind wanders to the other side of that line. what a hole it leaves in your heart. i don't know if time will rectify me. i don't know if i want it to.
@EpicFiction Not really, I think they started as geniuses and now they're running out of ideas a bit, although they still have some good songs, just not as many as their extremely early albums.
Crazy you can’t find this on Spotify.. I would be so depressed if I couldn’t listen to this song... This album shaped my youth 💜
You can download it from here using a TH-cam downloader... they are free to use. Message me if you need help doing it.
@@daceptacon funny enough, this is the only song that won't play in my spotify. cuts off at about 33 seconds. No idea why

saw this comment years ago. saw them a couple of months ago in Boston and can say there is absolute validity to the claims being made above.
@@isaiahc5716glad this still stands true, I'm realizing their new music is as good as their early hits and I want to see them myself.

Mine too, do you know any more songs like this? I could say this style reminds me a bit of "Is this real" by Lisa Hall
@@aromadiaries There's a lot of trip hop out there that sounds similar.

Is there any facet of the human experience that Emily's brash yet subtle words can't explain to me, I think not.
