In the back of the EarthBound player's guide, there were some scratch and sniff cards. One of them was a mystery. If you called the Nintendo hotline and guessed what the smell was, they would send you a prize, which was a car freshener that looked like the Mach Pizza guy.

The earth bound thing was in Nintendo power. And it was a small scented card and you had to tell them what it smelled like. It was pizza and the air freshener was the pizza delivery guy and it smelled straight up like old garlic. I remember because it’s how I found out I have asthma 😂😂😂

I can't remember the last time I was so devastated by a piece of media as hearing someone paid a dollar for Tomba and immediately destroyed it. The game rules, and it's ludicrously expensive now.

that hideo kojima game is such a cool idea and it has the vampires die when exposed to the sun trope taken to an extreme. It sounds amazing. Too bad nothing as revolutionary happens in gaming nowadays except for new ways to extract money from us

One of my most retro game memories is going to JC Penny's [ or Kohls] cloths stores and getting to play the demo for donkey Kong on Gameboy at the check out counter. It was so cool lol
