Watch collector for over 30yrs here. If interest rates weren't that low since GFC and QE, watches won't be at these crazy values we see today due to speculative and FOMO public. I'm not dismissing RMs but I'm talking the watch market as a whole.
I wonder how dealers such as Mr. Mohammed can acquire these rare watches. I assume money alone won't do it. He must have amazing connections both among sources and customers.

Premium Price : AD sells to grey market dealers and make another profit, then grey market dealers make another profit, then consumers suffer. Otherwise, how will grey market dealers get their hands on new watches.

I don't like Rm's. I don't get that luxury vibe from them. I feel like the trinity Rolex, Ap and Patek are still the proper names synonymous with luxury and class. That's just me though.

I think owners give him their watches to sell....he is an intermediate on v high end watches, obviously as owning most of them
That and I believe guys like him JUMP on these pieces the second they hear a rumor about them
