Breaking Sammartino's reign is basically saying "how long can you hold the World title without getting bored or burned out".
Dante has been a heel on the quizzes for ages now, with John being the clear face.
Indeed, I honestly didn't even know that Bruno held the spot for the longest title reign until Romans long reign brought it into the conversation. Meanwhile with every intro you hear that Triple H is a fourteen time world champ, Randy Orton is a fourteen time world champ, Cena is a 16 time world champion, Bokker T is a five time, five time, five time, five time, five time, WCW champion. The number of reigns has always sounded and presented as mote prestiges to me.
I see it as HHH lost the title 14 times. And I think of Charlotte and can't really remember anything of note she ever did as champ. But I know some of the iconic feuds Bruno had. People may not remember him now, but he was the standard for 40 years.
Yeah but to be fair you would hear that all the time because those guys were still active at the time. Meanwhile Bruno is a wrestler from the 70’s so of course you wouldn’t hear that as often.
Tbf though cena hhh and randy all have had very long reigns as well(not 3 years ofcourse)

@@navtektv yeah, i guess number beats length. The thing is almost everyone who's had around 10 world titles has had a pretty long run with it as well at least once. I thing edge is the only one who hasn't had a partucularly long one.
These guys had no idea how deeper Cena ccan go; he will make you question your own existence. It doesn't matter non-PG or PG.
Actually Evolutions deal was The Past, The Present and the Future (Veteran, Current Top Guy and the up-and-coming-Superstar).

I definitely picked Royal Rumble over MitB because the Royal Rumble is one of the big 4 events and when you win it, you get a free pass to WrestleMania. Your Road to Wrestlemania starts and you have plenty of time to build up rivalries between which champion you're going after. Plus, being an RR locks you in the history books and imagine if you pull off a Rey Mysterio by winning it at a very low number, lasting over an hour, and winning it. Such a feel good moment
Royal Rumble is definitely more fun than MITB. With RR, you can win a Rumble with specific number that never won yet(albeit not that important), you can potentially break the most eliminations in a single or consecutive rumble(s), have a memorable win altogether. You can try to break the longest time in a Rumble, etc.
MITB is only fun that you can cash-in at any PLE and at any RAW or Smackdown.

One thing to put into perspective for the undertaker wm streak vs Bruno title reign question…if you break Bruno’s reign you’re winning like 10 wm matches in a row anyways.
-Heel - It’s really hard to be over as face unlike being heel there’s a lot of type of being a heel, coward/cheap heel would be the easiest.
-Brawler/Bruiser - Just like MJF, I would preserve my body(as if being a welder is bad enough, my job lol) plus I would rather go buff than learning all the lucha wrestling stuff.
-Multiple reigns - It’s true what John said that the multiple reigns is more recognized than long title reign, also as a fan, I’m not a fan of long title reigns. Not to mention I want to become grand slam champion.
-Edge’s Metalingus - With all due respect to Saliva, Alter Bridge hits different. Also the “You think you know me/him” isn’t even part of the song lol you can literally add that part on any theme.
Evolution - You literally have Triple H and Ric Flair as your mentors, unlike The Shield where all of you are fresh in the WWE.
Take a stunner from Stone Cold - Both are legend but we all know that even former WWE fans will watch a clip of Stone Cold hitting a stunner and will have millions of views.
Get roasted by MJF - They forgot John Cena’s pre face promos lmao. Austin Theory slowly revived after he got roasted by John Cena, so I would rather be roasted by MJF, I have more “Jew jokes” to roast back at MJF than anything to say about John Cena.

Kickstart a memorable catchphrase - I already said I prefer being a heel, so yeah doing a memorable catchphrase would be harder than having an unforgettable promo.
Rey Mysterio’s Mask - Both are legend but you can’t deny than Rey Mysterio’s a bigger legend. Show a non wrestling fan both items and they will sure recognize Rey Mysterio’s mask unlike Cody’s belt.
Santino’s Cobra - Imaging putting your hands on someone’s mouth lol so I would rather go Cobra.
Highlight Reel - Both are legend but you can’t deny that Chris Jericho’s a better legend than Miz.
Blackpool Combat Club and Slim Jim - same reasons as what they said.
Swanton Bomb - It’s safer and less impact than Frog Splash.
Logan Paul - Both are great celebrity wrestlers but as a heel, I would rather tag with Logan Paul.
Hollywood - More money and time.
Being a heel is great because then you get that massive pop after a face turn, or the crowd turns you. A high flyer. You can be a brawler and still get injured. Triple H, Batista, Mick Foley, etc. Uhhh...stunner. Evolution, one long title reign, frog splash,MitB... i do like these.

It could honestly be the association of the wrestlers to their themes, but "Metalingus" to me feels like it fits the style and energy of a high flyer whereas "I Walk Alone" fits more the bruiser style. I Walk Alone has this overwhelming sense of charisma and intimidation unlike any other theme song.

1: I'd love to be that Heel that people either Love to Hate (ex: Dom Mys.), or A Heel that people can't NOT cheer for (Stone Cold type of Heel I guess? Almost like Reverse Heat??)
2: Brawler/Bruiser. Longevity in the Game is 100% Key, he's right!! I'd have like, MAYBE 2 moves from the top rope that happen in MASSIVE moments, and strictly for those moments.
3: I think being a " 1 Time WWE World Heavyweight Champion (900 Days). 1 Time US Champion (567 Days). 1 Time Interconnectional Champion (854 Days) " carries MUCH more weight to it. It shows that you were the FACE of a division AND the company for a CONSISTANT Amount of time, vs looking like a "Time filler" with 13 ~60 Runs.
However. MULTIPLE RUNS of roughly a year or more carry just as much weight, IMO. Still being a FACE for "just a year" still shows the chops!!
4: Metallingus, for free. The shot of Adrenaline to the Heart as soon as the first NOTE hits, High Octane with the Tempo shifts.. You can't NOT rock out to it.
5: The Shield. THE ONLY REASON.. Because of where each member are CURRENTLY in their careers.. and what the industry has BECOME since Evolution. It's the current day Exposure and the Money and opportunities that comes with it in *todays* economy. I'd say the SAME thing if it were asked between the NWO, and Evolution for example.
You'll end up being an Icon of the Business in the future no matter who you choose, but set yourself up for the LONGEVITY of your future success (you'd be old like Rick/RKO/HHH/Dave in 5 yrs, not Roman/Dean[Mox]/Seth in 5yrs 😉)
6: Stunner. The amount of Over-The-Top Sells/Undersells into an unreal sell would go SO hard in todays era.. I have so many Ideas.. lol
7: MJF. He brings that "edge (not Adam.)"* to promos these days that just resonates with todays media, and that really makes them memorable. "Viral Clips".
8: The "Taker-Esque" Streak. It can play into that "Heel Persona" I would want that I mentioned above. Could play to EITHER a Face or a Heel in a Match.
9: Yes. Both answers. Start WITH the Advocate, and then transition into the Wiseman once we become LEGENDS.
10: Sami. As a fellow Canadian, I deserved it if it came from him! Sorry, Sami!!!
11: Hell In A Cell. After listening to Mark describe how he was able to Spin the Story between HBK and The Undertaker in the first match changed my view on the stipulation as a whole. If you get the chance (and if you read this) go watch it on his podcast. it's seriously amazing to listen to the mentality behind it..
12: Money In The Bank. I feel like deliberately "Not having the briefcase on me" for weeks, especially when the Champs are having matches during the week, ESPECIALLY at the PLE's builds that "What's going on?" feeling.. and then randomly showing up ringside after walking through the crowd with the briefcase..
All just to not cash it in, slowly walk back through the crowd, and go back to "Not having it". And then one day just BANG. The Cash In.
13: Promo. Same as the Hell in a Cell answer. The Story Telling should ALWAYS make more of a difference than the "Flashy things", IMO.
14: Reys Mask. The Mask of a Luchador is basically an extension of the Heart and Soul of the Luchador. It's just a weight belt..
15: Cobra, 100% 😂😂 Again, the absurd selling you can do just by seeing it... let alone taking it...🤣💀
16: BCC. Too many Legends to pass up, especially being a current day stable.
Whats funny about Sophie saying Batista is the better song is that I'm pretty sure she broke the tie back in Lumberland/Dugout when they ranked the best WWE themes and it came down to Edge and Batista then as well and her and Dante picked Edge.

I did a Swanton from the top of a chest of draws onto my bed once. It was exhilarating but also kinda scary at first. DONT TRY THIS AT HOME KIDS.
When it came to high flyer or a brawler I was like I want to be Jacob fatu who can be both .
Shinsuke Nakamura leaving RISE and it turned him heel which is when he Became The King Of Strong Style.
It was a great example of someone who was in a faction and then a blood feud happens and his friend turna on him then Shinsuke gets pissed and starts kicking peoples heads off.
I chose; heel cuz the best heels are the ones who are justified but twist it. Ive always liked submissions, techinical and strong style and bruising over high flying.

For long vs short reign, it'd be so weird if you ended up having 1 really long reign and then nothing before or after it. It makes you wonder how they got there and why it didn't happen again if they were good enough to have a long reign. Makes me think of Jinder Mahal.
