I have the Epson R280 which is also a 6 color photo printer from the same era. Also using Precision Colors EV6 inks and getting superb results without using any custom profiles. Also using the WIC reset service. Most importantly, I learned all of this from your great videos. So thanks!!
Well done you !! I had to send my R2000 to heaven the other week after 3 months trying to get a clear nozzle check - it went after nearly 10 years faithful service - with help from your old videos on cleaning ( windex) - now deciding on a replacement
@@cheo1949 yes went through all inlets ( tube over top inject windex 2mm ) lots of paper roll underneath - leave overnight etc etc ) sometimes a channel would clear and then re block as I tried to clear other channels I got my moneys worth from the printer over the years and some great prints Lot of cartridges to move on now !!
Nothing like reiving an older printer & still looks good gives you a warm felling inside. On a side note It would be nice if every one chipped in a pound and bye you the cannon 1100 personally I am an Epson kind of guy but you deserve it buddy :)

Did you try directly injecting Windex into the printhead ink in to eat stem? That's what finally was able to clean the R2000 I just sold to a friend.
