When you came in the door of the first Antique mall there was a Rival Dog Food Can Bank, I have the one that was given to me in 1958 when I was 2 years old, it is one of the few treasures I have left from my childhood after going through a series of tornadoes in May 1965.
I’m not into the glass as most thrifters are, but I do love and appreciate the vintage books and wonderful illustrations! Especially in children’s books! Thank you for showcasing them when you’re shopping!🤩
That little Glo Worm brought back memories! My younger sister had one. My mum brought it for her first birthday, back in 1982 when they first came out. She's now 42, and she still has it! My niece had him when she was a baby too, but she was always told that it belongs to her mummy. She's 22 now. I loved that lovely Fenton Carnival piece at the end. It was soooo pretty! 😍
My youngest had the glo worm🥰 He loved it! I was so happy that you bought it❤️ My oldest who is your age loved all the things that you do. It warms my heart to hear you talk about those memories. Did you watch Emmett Otter’s Jug band Christmas?
I got the same Fenton carnival bowl at a local thrift store for $3! I don't get out much, and was shocked at my treasure, and then you got the same thing. Awesome! Fenton is just good, Michael. It's a fact of life. 😂
Beautiful items! It is helpful to see videos that aren't as "fruitful" so that people can understand that your pricing isn't just reflective of what you paid for an item, but also the time you take to find the item. Love the videos!
First video a little fast. The glow worm was fun glad you got that. I’m not into the glass but it’s fun watching you owing and awhing over certain pieces. See you next video👍
Great finds! love the Fenton vase ooo! The glow worm hmm I saw a real glow worm in my backyard the other day, they are the strangest looking fat caterpillars neon green with 2 black spots that look like eyes on one end but they're not. I've seen 2 in my lifetime. I'm pretty sure the real one is it's muse for the toy. I believe they turn into big epic looking moths. There's your lesson for the day lol.
Really got a kick out of Spanish in the beginning of this video. Cuánto Cuesta😅. Janet and I are coming to Urbana on Oct 6th and staying at yours and Richard's Inn again. We were glad we got to meet you guys. Hopefully we get to see two again.
I bought one for my daughter when she was little, I always thought the glo worms were adorable! All that glass was amazing, I think I liked the gold crest vase the best!
Pretty glass as always.I'am a little old for glow worms but they are really cute. My stuffed toy fav was Raggedy Ann. Well Michael thanks for the take along. As always my regards to Richard. See next time.
Raggedy Ann was my baby. My dad and brother bought her for me the day I was born in 1965. That started a tradition of giving Ann or Andy to the new babies in our family
@@brendabatt6874 I got my when I got my tonsils out. I was 2 1/2 at the time. Some time in 1959. My Mother bought it to the hospital for me. My Mother and I had a life long love of dolls. I now have my Mother's and mine it's a memory of the collection and My Mother.
Raggedy Ann used to scare me when I was little! I have absolutely no idea why. 🤷 But I did like Raggedy Andy - he was fine. Then again, I do suffer from an acute fear of clowns. 🤡 Maybe it has to do with that?
Hi Michael, If one time you are driving across Pennsylvania and are in teh Pittsburgh area, I would love to take you (and Richard if he is available) to a local resale shop. They have 2 building full of glass, vintage and tiny treasures. They often have sales where everything is half off. I have been shopping there for years. Please let me know if you are interested and I will coordinate a visit. Susan
The vase at 8min that you bot for 140 that you guessed 225. What is the maker? I have a tall stretch glass same color and 13 fingers at top taller than yours that I am trying to identify.
Is there a way I could replay this video in slow no on my iPhone? I get sick when the camera moves so fast. Am I the only one? I just love to watch you but this one was way to fast. Wonderful but fast.

Oyyy you stole that 2 color Fenton piece for only $20. What a great find!
How much was the Gloworm? The carnival basket?
That clear candy dish! What a shame it was chipped up!
You found some great items, thrift by me, I pay about 5 to 10 on Fenton and swag vases are about 30 to 50.
Where are you please?!😊
@@pammywhammy3521 I am in Illinois, just south of Chicago. I have about 20 honey hole shops I go to. Within a 40 mile radius. I do sell on ebay too.

I love your videos, but I liked it better when you didn't focus so much on glass.
