There's a much easier way to do Clockface also. Instead of going on all the different colored ledges like you did, you could just ride the second one (That long red one) you got on to the other side closer to the goal. It's going to meet up the first one on the other side (The long blue one that goes under the silver path to the goal) and you can get beat it like that.
There's an easier way to do Cylinders: go all the way to the back of the start platform and speed forward in a straight line slightly off center; use the corner/connection between the first cylinder and the one it's attached to to bounce over to the long cylinder that brings you to the Goal platform. If you keep up your speed and slow down at the end of the final cylinder, you'll have no problem getting onto the Goal platform.
Yup. At the 2:51/2:52 mark where you fall out, it's hard to see but you can see briefly to your left a group of bananas. That's the side you want to be on because you won't have to dodge those two huge gaps nearly as bad that were giving you trouble. As for spasmodic yeah I've never seen anyone beat it the way you did, but if it works for you go for it! What works for me is actually getting on the 1st launch thingy to throw me to the goal. Took a while to learn but works pretty well for me now.
One thing about Notch to make it much easier... Start the run when the first "notch" is the the left, then the last "notch" will be on it's downswing so you can avoid it easier.

I've never actually seen what spasmodic looks like. Every other play I've seen of it rushes it. Apparently, if your timing is just right, you can rush forward when the timer reads about 59.50 and you'll just blaze through it.
Someone mentioned it, but yes Spasmodic can be done very easily, so I have to disagree with it being in Master when that's found out, but without that, yes definitely.

You over-complicated Notch. When you begin you should wait about an extra 10-15 seconds for it to rotate 180 degrees. Going from the underside makes it dramatically easier.
@@justinwalter4509, in Super Monkey Ball 1 if you lose a single life in Beginner and Advanced you cannot enter the Extra Stages, in Expert you cannot use a single continue in order to reach the extra stages, in order to unlock the Master stages you had to complete Expert and Expert Extra without using a continue In this game however you cannot use a continue, in order to get to the extra stages regardless of what difficulty you’re on The only difference between Master in SMB1 and this game, is in SMB1 you couldn’t enter Master from the difficulty select, in SMB2 however once you unlock the Master stages you can then enter Master from the difficulty select without having to go back through Expert So in SMB1, Master is considered Expert Extra Extra But in SMB2, Master isn’t always considered part of Expert

But you've only got 3 lives to even *get* there, plus however many 1-ups you can earn and keep on the way. SMB2 doesn't have unlimited continues, but you can upgrade your starting lives to 99 through Play Points in that game, so getting to Master isn't quite as daunting.
AlexXYZ222 Since I tackled this game with no outside help, I figured out a strategy for Cylinders but never did for Intermittent. (Or Spasmodic, for that matter.)

You know, you can just wait about half a second and then charge forward. I almost always complete it that way.
