Actually Honda City is probably a premium car so internally you will get soft touch material only, Coz Honda usually has got build quality.

I own Honda City 2014. I call it silent beauty. No engine sound. You at times crank it again if you are absent minded. Wonderful car, as the owner said the body and the metal is soft. Tends to get small dents easily.

About the car, this is a lovely car over last 2 decades. Unfortunately it's popularity is lost in Indian market due to Honda's defensive attitude.
The owner of this car rightly said comfort is for the user of the car, it doesn't make any sense to a person looking from outside. Only few people would understand this.. very meaningful.

Compact SUV 🚙 is just hatchback with good ground clearance. If you lives in Himalaya or completely hilly or worse road area and you are off-road lover then it’s worth buying Compact SUV. But if you lives in City and buying compact SUV just for your 1 or 2 trips on bad roads in the entire life of the vehicle, then you will greatly miss the comfort of the car for your family by ignoring Sedan 🚘.

Sorry sir, what you explained about door, not that much heavy. 2nd gear shifting is a problem and bumpy ride feeling. Good things specious and i-vtech engine.
Put nitrogen in tyre, bumpyness will go. I have 2018 honda city.

I have honda city 2012 and I don't change gear I am driving it on 30-35 in 5th gear without any issue...... it is truely said it is semi automatic you don't need to change gears much

Gas leakage issue is an common problem in Honda city. In my city I had to refill gas more than 4 times in 4yrs and also the compressor pully gone bad 2 times

Hi sir. Thanks for your video. And I am a regular watcher of all your videos. I am completely confused on which car to buy. My budget is 10 lacs. If I couldn't get that premium level and best car in this budget I could go till 15 lacs. I commute 50 - 100 per day. So pls suggest which car could be better. Whether it's petrol, diesel or automatic. And sedan or compact suv. Which could be better. It's my first car and I don't want to waste my money in any aspect.

As per your need and budget you will opt for BS4 honda city preferably 2018/ 2019 pre-owned VMT or VXMT
In BS6 you can't add CNG kit.

I have 5th gen City..and i like 5th gen more than 4th gen becoz of all safety features like ESP,VSA,TPMS,agile handling assist,hill hold,4 airbags, connected car tech,projector headlamps,bmw like led tail lights etc right from base v variant.. also 5th gen feels more solid,well built than 4th gen..also it is longer,wider than 4th gen..
5th gen has dohc engine which feels more responsive
5th gen City's V variant itself is a top model..becoz of all good to have and must have features

Hi I own a Honda City 4th Gen automatic. In the city with bad traffic I get 8 kmpl, with normal traffic I get 14 kmpl and on the highway I get 18 kmpl

I want to buy a second hand Honda city car which one will you recommend 3rd generation of 2013 or 4th generation of a 2014/ 15 or 16. Want to buy petrol automatic version.
2013 3rd generation cost is around 3 lac and 2014 4th generation cost is around 5 to 5.5 lac. That's a big difference almost 2- 2.5 lac

How about maintenance cost??
Not very costly. Honda routine servicing will cost you about 4000-5000 for normal oil change, air filter and fuel filter change + normal AC cleaning, AC filter change etc. Depending on the type of servicing the cost will vary. At 20000 Km and certain other milestones you have additional oil changes and associated extra labour cost. Overall the vehicle is reliable and usually additional maintenance free as long as you do your periodic servicing as per schedule/usage. Hope I have answered your question.

@@srd5521 Honda Maintenance is actually six monthly. I usually do it whenever I complete 10,000 Km as it is the recommended Km for oil change. 1-2000 Km here and there wil not harm the vehicle. The maintenance cost is about Rs.4-5000 for each servicing. It is costlier for other vehicles. If you can identify a reliable mechanic outside and do the servicing there you might save some money on the labour cost. Remaining will always be the same. Showroom servicing gives you better after sales value as service records are accessible to the new buyer. Overall the car is good and reliable, depends on how the previous owner has maintained. Hope it answers your query
@@srd5521 Honda all generations are good. The new ones have IVTech engines which gives good mileage, engine performance and better gear shift stability. Even in slow speeds as long as you maintain the RPM below 2000 you will get good mileage. Gear shifting and knocking is not observed even in slow speeds on higher gears. It is a good vehicle for City life as long as you are comfortable with petrol mileage. If you want more mileage then go for ID Tech engine as it will give you above 20 Km/ litre mileage even in City drives.

ground clearance issue only for people who drive mostly on bad roads.. i didn't face any issue in city till now even on large speed bumps

Top model ki bhai baat kr raha hai....its just little cosmetic changes in Honda City. Ek sun roof hi major factor hai aur ek extra alloy with spare wheel lekin paisa 2-3lakh jyada. Not worth it. I have Honda City middle model costed me 12lakhs and not missing anything on features

He missed Toyota Yaris .. suspension, braking, interior quality, safety..much superior to city.. Wo chalane k baad City pasand na aati .. telling based on personal experience..
only I honda engine you can. ride the car in 20 kmph in4th gear
Honda City is NOT A PREMIUM SEDAN.. as per Honda.. They have ACCORD for that segment. It's an entry-level sedan, not counting the AMAZE. It's not really a sedan.

Lol the owner is lying about the handling that "chippak ke chal rahi hai". Noo doubt Honda's VTEC engineering is among the best but not not so best in terms of handling. It wobbles at uneven highways at tripple digit speeds where most cars feel stable. I have rode it like a POV so just sharing my views.
He himself said he only drove for only 6k Kms. That's not enough driving to conclude anything driving related. The guy isn't lying, he is just confused because it's his own car lol
The boat type feeling you speak of at high speed is due to soft suspension and small width tyres.
